Looking for a hair dresser for just a hair cut.
Last time I got my hair cut was at Scar in town which was amazing! Unfortunately I can’t afford R500-R600 for a cut this time, can you recommend a salon that offers more budget friendly prices, that you would recommend? I’m looking for just a cut, nothing fancy. Been two years since my last cut and hair is getting a bit too messy so looks like a cut is inevitable but I’m essentially broke haha

I just replaced timing and oil pump chain on my bmw n20 engine and now the engine sounds more aggressive than before. It idle smoother now. No code. Oil level ok. It feels like the car has bee tuned. Is it because the part are still new and therefore need more time to break in?

When i was a girl, I fell victim to an intoxicating cocktail made from vivid nightmares and aggressive sleep paralysis. It started somewhat mild- seeing basic things like the boogeyman, or a monster under the bed and such entities. To be honest, being locked inside your own body is much worse than what you’re actually seeing in front of you. the loss of autonomy, the encapsulating immobility, the betrayal of your own body against you. The nightmares worsened with time, climaxing when I was 19. My visions shifted from “Monsters Inc” scary, to thoroughly uncanny. In therapy, the doctors would ask me to draw what I saw- and so I did. It was an all encompassing black mass, draping its physical form over me and intwining itself with me oh so slowly, laced with an almost haunting gentleness. If not for the initial unfamiliarity of the entire encounter, perhaps I might even allow it to complete the juxtaposition. It whispers things to me that I could never recall when I woke up. I’d begin to speak, and whenever I would I’d be cut short by something inside of me. Around the time I was put on Haloperidol, or my friend Hal (as I like to say)my nightmares were so debilitating that my parents had hired an overnight nurse to sit with me as the nightmares would pass. I never really thought I needed medical attention, either. I. knew what I was seeing wasn’t real. Eventually with the help of Hal and my nurse, i stopped seeing things that weren’t there. I slept through the night. I woke up groggy and annoyed like a regular person. There was always comfort in mornings I’d find myself wishing I had more time to sleep in, a privilege I had to earn.
This is me trying to recall how exactly I got here. I can’t remember. My routine hasn’t changed. I don’t need Hal anymore, and my nurse is long gone. So, why am I here in bed, staring fear in her ghastly face? Why is she calling to me?…Her burning presence ravaging its way through my body? My memory is failing me. What’s my name? Who are you? Who am i? Is this death? My untimely and indefinite departure? I don’t remember how long I’ve been here- in this bed, motionless, undeserving, alone. But which fate is worse? If i’m never woken up from my slumber, or if I’m already awake? I hear a whisper. “Are you sure you were ever really awake at all?”

Hi, I just have two quick questions regarding the action of scapulas during high pull ups.
- Should we start them passive or active hang ? I feel more explosive starting from passive hang but I heard Daniel Vadnal from FitnessFAQs recommending active hang because it's "more stable" and would allow you to pull with more poweexplosiveness (which is not my case but might be due to specificity as I only did them with passive hang). I should specify that I always do them from a deadhang as I know there's two ways to do them as Steven shows on his instagram, either deadhang or using a slight momentum and benefiting from stretch reflex.
- The body should be hollow body during the whole movement and subsequently the scapulas are always depressed + neutral or slightly protracted but never retracted, right ?
