You could also say it this way: "how do you do" back has been replaced with an equally meaningless reply. It is just an exterior change of convention; etiquette demands that you give only one answer when asked about your well-being in somewhat formal situations: you are doing well, thank you. The full phrase this originated from is "do you and I'll do me". Another variation is "do you - cuz I'mma do me". The oldest reference to the phrase that I could find is from the song Do You by Funkmaster Flex (featuring DMX), from the album Volume IV, released on December 5, 2000. My sense is that American English prefers "don't" and "do you not" is a speech act with a peculiar meaning: "I am now interrogating and instructing you" in a Socratic fashion. On the other hand, "do you not" is fairly common Canadian usage with raising intonation on the 'not.' You'd be hard pressed to find a style guide that doesn't admonish you to drop “and/or” and choose either “and” or “or.” In writing either and or or is usually adequate. If a greater distinction is needed, another phrasing is available : X or Y, or both. References: And/or . ELU: The difference between "and" and "and/or" What I mean is I do not accept/require the same limitations you place on constructions involving request. And as my link shows, nor do lots of others. You're surely not suggesting there's an "absolute" issue of grammaticality involved here, and that only your perspective is "correct". I do not suggest the converse, I assure you. – The phrase "do that voodoo that you do so well" has been used in two films other than the films that the song has appeared in. Most know it was spoken by Harvey Korman in the movie "Blazing Saddles", but it was also spoken by Col. Sherman Potter in the "M A S*H series, Season 8/Episode 24, "Back Pay", March, 1980, six years after Blazing ... Actually I believe that both variants can be technically correct, but they are saying very different things, and using the "you to" variant is mostly done as a mistake where "that you" would have been correct. I recommend that you define those parameters beforehand-> my recommendation (to you) is that those parameters should be defined beforehand. Hab hier so ein Übernahmeangebot bekommen und lese seither zu Mini-Tender-Offers etc. Was sich mir nicht erschließt: Normalerweise liegen solche Angebote leicht unter dem Marktwert (sagt das Internet). Hier liegt es mit 66 $ aber weit über dem aktuellen Stockprice von 61,50 $. Warum holt sich die Tutanota LLC die Aktien nicht einfach regulär an den Börsen?
und, wenn ich das für mich berechne: Muss ich noch andere Sachen berücksichtigen außer US-Quellensteuer und Lagerstellenwechsel?

I have read this many times and from many different cat rescues, some people still use this method even though it’s not recommended and why. This site doesn’t allow attachment so I will write what I found. Putting litter boxes outside will attract other Tom cats that can harm your cats and create territorial issues that are going to keep your lost cats from returning. It came to my attention how there are literally no title tracks on their discography other than Once Twice Melody so for me, id love to know what the lyrics to a song called depression cherry would be and how they could explain the concept behind the title. A title track for self-titled would also be interesting, having a song named after the band could also elaborate a meaning to why they are called like that all though i do enjoy the ambiguity behind it.

Hi everyone, I have just learnt my company offer smart salary sacrifice.
I’m a bit confused how it works but believe your salary is reduced so employer pays less NI contributions as do you, and some of this saving can go into your pensions so you get more pension and the same take home pay. Can anyone explain better?
I am trying to work out how to maximise how much I can put in while retaining the same take-home pay but the calculations allude me and my work are unwilling to work them out for me as they say it counts as pension advice
Is there anyone who knows how to work this out or who can help?
