I received my new grade in December, with the updated salary taking effect in January. However, I didn’t realize I should have negotiated for a better salary back in December. While I was granted a 7% raise, I can’t help but feel like I missed an opportunity by accepting it too quickly—perhaps influenced by the challenges women often face in these situations.
They also gave me new responsibilities working with the Quality department, in addition to my existing tasks in the Advisory department.
What do you think of this raise ?

Hi Guys,
I want to get into gravel riding and racing and i narrowed it down (inspired by Dylan Johnson) to these 2 bikes. With 177 and 83cm inseam, I would go for the 54 felt or the medium sized Lauf seigla.
Anybody who can recommend one of the models? I would love to use the race kings, it would be a tight fit on the felt and a good fit on the Lauf.
The felt’s price would be 2000 euro with GRx 610 ; the Lauf about 3k with sram apex axs.

A little over a week ago I got this bump on one of my nostril piercings. I got them pierced around 2 months ago, but this side has been more sensitive than the other one. This side was the more swollen one when they were fresh and I have accidentally snagged this one a few times over the 2 months, so I'm assuming that irritation caused it. I've never had complications with any other piercing so far so I wasn't really sure what to do. I started gently cleaning it with some nonscented antibacterial soap that my tattoo artist recommended for healing tattoos because I thought it would be effective but also gentle enough for wounds. It started getting bigger though, it's now overtaking the stud and pushing it in a little bit, so clearly that's not working very well.

Hi, i’m looking for advice. I graduated from FIT not too long ago, and got a job straight out of school as an assistant paying $65k/year. i like it, but find it repetitive and boring. However, the job has no benefits, no health insurance, no retirement, just PTO. it’s also a really tough industry to find a job in.
i have been looking into the medical field, specifically sonography. i applied for a job at a clinic for a health care coordinator position and got the job, where i would be with nurses and sonographers, calling patients about their medicine and such. Pay is $26.50/hour, full benefits (PTO, retirement, health dental vision and life insurance). however, this would be a really large pay cut from my current job.
i’m wondering if someone can help me, is it a good idea to accept the job and take the pay cut because of the benefits?? or is it smarter to stay with my current job, save more money, and use it to pay for school? or is the medical experience alone worth it to help me get into school??

Today, I had an encounter with what might be the most pathetic troll I've ever come across. It was almost pitiable. His grammar was poor, and he seemed desperate to have his pseudo-intellectual ideas validated. I had responded to a thread he posted earlier because his arguments were weak AF. He didn’t reply right away, but he eventually messaged me and it was obvious his ego was fragile since he kept sending follow-up messages for days. He just couldn’t let things go.
Looking back, I realize I need to remind myself that some people struggle to accept how insignificant they really are. Instead, they try to feel better about their own glaring inadequacies and impotence by trolling others. It’s honestly kind of sad. Thinking of that little snowflake melting… 🫠

I’ve found that all too often authors are turning spanking aka domestic discipline into foreplay. They make it enjoyable for the one being “disciplined”. I almost feel they do this to get away from dubcon but it ruins the entire premise behind the discipline aspect. One such author that does a great job with this is Korey Mae Johnson. At least her older stuff, before she started partnering with others and changed her style. But Baby Girl, the audio book is fantastic btw, is on par with what I’m looking for.
I can’t seem to find this too often. I’m looking for all genres but I prefer if the spanking was non-con. Like a real discipline session that was not enjoyable.
I love time travel, where the lady is sent back into the past where this is common. I also love fantasy and sci-fi genres. Although open to all.
Please give recommendations!!
