I can’t believe how hard it is to just do the right thing… start recovery. I need sub-acute detox and inpatient recovery. Anything less, I will just stop going and keep drinking.
I’m in Michigan with Michigan Medicaid. Metro-Detroit area. I’ve contacted DWIHN multiple times to no avail. Just told there’s a wait list or given a list of places to call that don’t call back or say I’m not a candidate for one reason or another.
Meanwhile, I can’t avoid the bottle and am desperate for help. Any suggestions please?

Heard a few bangs around 6am... Just did a visual check around the house and there's a fair few bits of wood and garden stuff moved.
Looked out and the old felt flat roof appears to have lifted off in part. Will need to patch it up later.
Apart from that, I see the neighbours garden furniture has overturned. Street looks OK. No debris.

Ich spiele mit dem Gedanken, mit E-Commerce zu starten - da mich dieses Thema schon immer brennend interessiert und fasziniert.
Meine Vorstellung ist wie folgt:
- Ich möchte in einer Nische, die mich persönlich interessiert, eine Marke und eine Produktpalette darin aufbauen
- Ich setze lieber auf Qualität und biete im mittleren Preissegment (50-100€) an, anstatt möglichst billig zu verkaufen. (z.B. bei Hobbies wie beim Wandern zahle ich lieber paar Euro mehr für top Ausrüstung, anstatt das billigste zu nehmen)
- Produktion vermutlich in Asien (allerdings erst verkaufen, wenn Qualität für mich passt)
- Starten würde ich mit FBA, da ich dort mit PPC recht einfach Reichweite bekommen kann
- Wenn angelaufen, würde ich vermutlich auch andere Online-Plattformen nutzen wollen (Kaufland, eBay, ...)
- Langfristig würde ich jedoch auch gerne einen eigenen Shop/Marke aufbauen (z.B. mit Shopify)
- An die FBA seller, wie lange hat es bei euch gedauert, Umsätze und Gewinn zu machen und wie war so die Entwicklung über die nächsten Monate/Jahre?
- Falls jemand gescheitert ist, was waren die Probleme?
- Welche Risiken, Herausforderungen könnt ihr nennen?

Logic in a computer is like a bunch of dominoes, but, in order to do anything interesting you need a way to set the dominoes up a certain way, and some to knock them over regularly so the device and stay cohesive (a "master clock"). It's nice❤️ Letting processes communicate with eachother should be done on a per process basis. Magical thinking will be the end of humanity. Because magic can only be relied on by those whome do not see it as magical. Oppinion. 🤔 but: "magic can only be relied on by those whome do not see it as magical." That's going in a book. I've been mumbling about writing a wizard book for over a year now. It's gonna be a manga, but just CGI in a simplified style exported as a web comic. 2025.01.24 08:41 StarWeaver84 Why were American school students at least in rural suburban public schools less inspired to go into engineering and science during the 2000s and early 2010s?
I went to a typical middle class public school in a typical middle class rural suburban area during the 2000s and early 2010s and looking back I find it sad I never knew anyone who went into science or engineering.
Despite all of that decade's problems I believed that by the mid 2010s humanity would get serious about putting itself on the road to achieving a Star Trek like future.
It seemed like the only way out at that time was the military. Many of the athletes I knew either went into the military or construction work. A lot of the "Popular Girls" I knew went into nursing with some ending up going into office work.
I heard the 1960s "Space Race" inspired many youth of that era to go into science and engineering and they ended up giving us the "Tech Boom".
Of course there was the "International Space Station" but it seemed like my fellow classmates were excited and inspired by that or the Mars rover.
I remember getting interested in space and space exploration briefly during the Summer before my first year of college a little over a decade ago but sadly lost interest during my college years.
I also remember being amazed by "Mass Effect" and discovering Neil Degrasse Tyson and StarTalk. I bought a cheap telescope and did some stargazing.
By college I thought "Frat Bros" and sorority party girls were the coolest people on campus. I was obsessed with getting a cushy office job that would pay for a McMansion, a German made car, and a nice vacation every year.
Fast forward to the quarantine of 2020 and I check out "Apple TV" out of boredom as well as curiosity and one particular show on there reawakens something inside of me and reignites my interest in space, space exploration, science, and even aviation.
I ended up binge watching anything NASA or space exploration related movies, shows, and documentaries I could find.
That combined with various events in the world of spaceflight just add fuel to that fire, SpaceX DM-2 and Crew 1-9, Artemis-1, DART, Perseverance, JWST, the Chinese space program, and Starship.
Looking back I wish I'd never lost interest in space and science and choose to go into science or engineering instead.
I wish I never stop dreaming of better future and became vapid.
Now I think astronauts, scientists, and engineers are the coolest people ever.
Would a fully funded human spaceflight program to Mars during the 2000s have done a better job at inspiring more American youth to go into science or engineering during that time period?
I am no fan of Elon Musk's behavior.
It seems like since late 2015 the world has descended into a dumber and crazier alternate world.
