2025.01.24 08:40 faksyfak1 Moving SIPs to direct funds
I currently invest through FundsIndia and have a decent portfolio with relatively large sum going into monthly SIPs through it. I am planning to stop those SIPs now and move to direct funds through CAMS or something like that. My question is, what should I do with my existing portfolio? Can I resume my SIPs on direct funds under same portfolio number or would I get a new portfolio number for direct funds? Logically it seems ok to me to keep existing funds in FundsIndia and just stop the SIPs and start with direct. How have you guys dealt with this?

I moved to London in October 2023 to pursue my master's degree and signed a rental agreement with a company in West London. I paid for both the first and last month's rent upfront, initially for a short-term lease (3 months), which I later extended on a monthly basis.
In July(2024), a new tenant moved into our shared house (which had five tenants in total). He turned out to be aggressive, violent, and reportedly involved in selling drugs. In December, one night he came into the kitchen drunk, started verbally abusing me and another tenant, and even got physical with him. He threatened both of us. Concerned for my safety, I contacted the rental agency, informed them about the incident, and requested that they end my contract, with the understanding that the next month would be my final month. I told them they could use the last month's rent I had already paid. To which I didn't get any reply for 3 weeks.
For my safety, I decided to stay with friends for a month, and as soon as the new month started(January 2025), I left the house—despite the fact that I technically had the place for the entire month, given my last month's rent. Meanwhile, the agency did nothing, which I wasn’t surprised by. During the year I stayed there, I had to handle most things on my own. We were promised biweekly cleaners, for which we paid, but they often didn’t show up, and when they did, they would only give the house a quick once-over in about 15 minutes. The kitchen lights broke and were left unfixed for a whole month, and when I reached out for help, the agency took two months to respond. The only communication I ever received from them was when rent was due, which I always paid on time.
After I left the house, I still had a full month’s rent paid to the agency(paid at the starting of my contract). However, they began sending me threatening emails, saying they would take legal action, sue me in court, and that I would have to pay massive legal fees. They even asked for more rent, despite already having my payment. As a student, this situation felt completely overwhelming. I responded, reminding them that they already had the last month's rent I paid in the beginning, but they ignored my reply and continued sending threatening messages, claiming they'd tried to contact me and would now pursue legal action, including a CCJ (County Court Judgment).

I have only just gotten into the world of these kinds of gaming systems, and my first is actually the R36S, which I mainly got as a cheap one to use at work, so I'm not as worried about it breaking.
However, I've been seeing anbernic posts since and I'm already thinking about a future upgrade 😂
Problem is, there's so many variations and I wouldn't know which would be best for me. I wondered if anyone could recommend one that would be ideal for what I'm looking for?
The main things I would like to play are ps1 and ps2 games. And also mickey mouse castle of illusion which I think was on mega drive? Loved that game as a kid.
I think I prefer landscape ones, I was always quite happy using a gameboy advance but wouldn't mind one slightly larger. I have a switch and I think that's a tad too big, so somewhere in between? I'm a bit blind in my old age so a biggish screen would be nice.
I don't know if there's one that fits all of that, but even if there's any that are close I'd really appreciate the suggestions!
Some of the ones I looked at already say only available from China, but I'm in the UK. Will that make any actual difference to what I receive?

42 here. I am sick of manual labowarehouse jobs and want to get more of a office role. I was considering getting an engineering degree online but after research, I found that it is pretty hard to do so because you would miss out on in person lab work that would help you get the skills to land a job after graduation. I wanted to do some type of degree online because I want to move in the next 1-2 years so I figure online would be easier because I wouldn't have to start over when moving(nor pay high out of state fees)

I have a save file of Sonic Heroes that I am trying to load but it keeps giving me a message saying "Failed Opening Memory Card: Filesize does not match any known Gamecube Memory Card size". It will say this even when I try to load my other save file for the game and I know that one works because I have been playing on it. Please help
