Hi! I use OMV7 with CM3588 NAS Kit and I want to lower the temperature at which the fan turns on. How can i do this?
In my current configuration, I have placed the computer in a 3D printed case with fan that spins at 50C (122F). The standard temperature in the case is 48C (118F), without the case it is 42C (108F). If I turn fan on via GPIO, the temperature drops to 34C (93F), but the fan runs very loud. I want to reduce the temperature at which the fan turns on. How can I do this?

In letzter Zeit beschäftigt mich eine Frage sehr: Wie können Menschen von Bürgergeld ihren Kredit abbezahlen? Ich habe in meinem Bekanntenkreis schon gehört, dass so etwas möglich sein soll. Kann mir jemand erklären, ob das wirklich stimmt, oder ob das nur erfunden wurde, um die Leute noch mehr zu ärgern? Mich regt das nämlich sehr auf. Ich bin selbst Ausländer, lebe seit 12 Jahren hier, habe noch nie irgendwelche Unterstützung erhalten, arbeite durchgehend, und zahle meine Miete für eine Wohnung, die mir nicht gehört. Wie ist es also möglich, dass jemand nichts arbeitet, trotzdem so viel Geld bekommt und sogar der Kredit abbezahlt wird, sodass das Haus oder die Wohnung irgendwann ihm gehört, ohne dass er etwas dafür tut? Meine Frage ist also: Gibt es so etwas wirklich? Und wenn ja, wie funktioniert das? Kann mir jemand erklären, ob das Jobcenter tatsächlich die komplette Kreditrückzahlung übernimmt? Wie läuft das ab? Vielen Dank für jede Aufklärung!

I’ve never been charged ‘import fees’ on delivery before. Not sure if this is something specific to how ZSA is managing their shipping or if it’s only applicable to certain countries? As far as I’m aware, Australia shouldn’t have import fees on items under $1000.
The Voyager + Shhhocks is already going to cost me $600 AUD. If I’m going to be charged some additional extravagant shipping cost, I need to know 😅

I’m currently a quant developer at a top US-based hedge fund with 3 years of experience. While the finance buy-side domain has been great, I feel the growth ceiling is low as a developer. Transitioning to tech is an option, but with the rapid growth of AI and India's outsourcing-focused tech market, I’m skeptical about long-term career prospects in tech.
I’ve been considering pivoting to a different domain through an MBA or an MS in Finance from a top global university. IIMs are an option, but given my current earning level, I don’t see significant upside in terms of ROI from them.
My questions:
Will an MBA/MS from a top global university help me grow my career in the long run?
What are my chances of acceptance?
Is it worth pursuing, considering my humble background and limited years of savings?
Would love to hear from those with similar experiences or insights!

2025.01.24 08:25 annienugget Do I have to pay out-of-network medical bill if it was supposed to be covered 100% by insurance but the provider didn’t file timely?
Ambulance bill so it’s out-of-network. Yes, I provided them with my insurance on time. Multiple times. They filled the claim form out wrong multiple times, despite having the correct information. They never attempted to correct it despite having the information on file or told me that it was denied, just re-sent me a bill but didn’t communicate anything else, so I thought it was still processing with insurance. Insurance is going to reject now.
