2025.01.24 09:59 iloveteaching1 How do I proceed now? I have no skills and feel terrible
My_qualifications- integrated masters in maths, studied bds at a govt college for a year and half, dropped out later.
I have always wanted to get into research, i was a good student at school and even uni, but honestly, lost interest gradually in the covid period, but still didn't want to give up. I qualified Gate, but not good enough to get into any college, that's what motivated me to take the tests (csir, gate, other exams) again, the gap took a toll on me again and I lost whatever little confidence I had, I couldn't qualify next time, almost gave 2½ years of my life now.
I don't know how do I proceed, what skills do I acquire? I don't want to get into teaching profession, even though I like teaching, I don't have the bandwidth to do another degree. I've been learning python on and off. That's about it. I'm living in Bengaluru, if it matters. Please guide me.

TL;DR quasi regular tips well but then goes to the same after hours club and is creepy with me. Any way to address this without scaring off business?
I (F, 40) have frequented a neighborhood bar for years, and I began bartending there in March 2024. I’ve known most of the customers there as regulars/peers before they were “my” customers. About a year ago, a guy (M, 60ish) started coming in after his gigs, and he’s generally always been overly/borderline annoyingly friendly. When he tips me, it’s generally about 30-50% on $25-$30 tabs.
I also go to an after hours club where he’s a member also. When I run into him there, he’s usually pretty turned up. It seems like he drinks way more there after he leaves me while I close the bar. Most nights he tries to dance with me or buy me drinks, and I can kind of brush him off. Tonight, though, I came in and he immediately started petting my head and telling me that he likes it when my hair is down. It was kind of weird, but I just wanted to drink and unwind.
Then about 10 mins in, he can up behind me and started purring in my ear and petting me like a cat. The bartender there told me to stop because she could see that I was uncomfortable, and it was objectively weird. The worst part is that I know his SO, and he’s met my husband, and he’d never do that if either of them were around. Even after he was told to stop, he kept doing it, bought all my drinks, and then kind of ignored me before doing it again and leaving quickly.
My first instinct is to punch him in the gut, but I also don’t want to run him out of either bar for their sake. I’d also really like to tell him to stop touching me and quit being a creep, but again, I don’t want to cost business to my bar (where I only work a night or two a week) or my after hours club.
Any way to calmly tell this dude to quit being such a weirdo? I’m about as subtle as a sledgehammer in this situations (e.g., “STOP EFFING TOUCHING ME BEFORE I LIGHT YOU ON FIRE”), so any advice is appreciated.

I hear that it's the sorta spiritual sequel of Sicario, much better than its actual sequel Sicario: Day of the Soldado. Does anyone have read the script? What are your thoughts about it? I know that Sheridan isn’t quite loved around here -mostly for his TV work and that Jolie/Tyler Perry movie though- but Sicario, Hell or High Water and Wind River are all great movies. I know that Villeneuve added some changes to the script but the main concept and all was Sheridan’s.
Lastly is there a way to find the script online? Or does anyone have it?

Title mostly says it. We will be flying out from Kansas City- MCI- so I’m hoping for not a wildly expensive place to fly to.
We have been to Sun Palace in Cancun, it was basically ideal.
I care about adults only, good food, decent beach. I DON’T care about activities, nightlife, etc. We mostly want to have dinner then drink together in our room. [Sun Palace has a built in liquor dispenser in the room- we really liked that]
Definitely open to somewhere that isn’t Cancun, but we don’t want to make a huge trek between the airport and the resort.
Ideal travel time would be April ish.

I recently bought an NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti 4GB DDR5 128BIT PCI E that turned out to be fake. It was a GTX450 with a modified bios. GPU-X reported it as fake. It also had a VGA socket which not of the 1050's have. I returned it to the sender. The tracking reports that delivery was attempted twice and item is available for redelivery or collection. Would seller have been notified by ebay? What steps do I take?
