I 35f and husband 34m I want to share my experience with my in-laws. They're not typical 'bad' in-laws; they're worse - I'd even call them evil.think do it for dan vibes My husband doesn't have a good relationship with them. Despite living close, he barely sees them due to the toxic dynamic. I've lost count of how many times they've made him cry.
Even as a grown man, his parents beat him three years ago for ridiculous reasons. I've witnessed this family's behavior firsthand, and it's shocking. My two-year-old daughter doesn't see them often, but they've started visiting more to pretend to care for her. In reality, she's their least favorite grandchild The only reason they're visiting now is to control the situation. It sounds crazy, but I believe they're using my daughter to see their son.
My in-laws have repeatedly said they'll poison my daughter against me, claiming they're joking, but I don't think it's funny. They've been saying this since my daughter was born, and I genuinely believe they mean it. They're angry that their son hates them, and they blame me for that.
I've responded to their comments with some mean words, which my husband said were a bit harsh. I'm worried about my daughter's future relationship with them. I want her to have a supportive relationship with her grandparents, but I'm concerned about their behavior.
Should I warn my daughter about her grandparents when she's older? Should I limit her visits with them? They've talked badly about other family members to their grandchildren and tried to brainwash them. They're bad examples, swearing in front of kids, teaching them bad language, and smoking around them.
I feel like I'm venting, but I'm torn between protecting my daughter and not wanting to be a bad person. Do I set boundaries with my mother-in-law, or do I talk to my daughter about her grandparents' behavior?" I dislike the constant comments about how they're going to brainwash my daughter against me. I genuinely believe they'll try to manipulate her once she's older and starts spending more time at their house. That's when they'll attempt to brainwash her into thinking I'm a bad person."
I wanted to have a heart-to-heart with my mother-in-law, telling her it's not okay to try to make my daughter hate me. I could retaliate, but instead, I wanted to set boundaries. However, every time I try to talk to her, she blows up and creates a huge scene. My husband gets mad at me, telling me to stop trying to have a normal conversation with her, saying she's not a normal person.
He gets angry because he ends up defending me and telling his mom off. They yell at each other, proving his point that she can't have a normal conversation. But should I still try to have that conversation anyway?
I'm not completely innocent, though. I do tell her off when she makes snarky comments. And I feel like I'm just as bad as them because I'm thinking of limiting visits with my toddler and warning her about her grandparents. Does that make me just as bad?" Maybe I'm overreacting? My daughter is only 2 years old now and doesn't see them much. However, I think that in the next few months, they'll want her to be dropped off at their house, and that's when I'll be afraid of them being a bad influence and speaking poorly about me to her." This might be a strange question.
Let’s say the there’s a movie about a detective investigating a crime. He goes into a room and looks in the victims diary, he researches and “googles” a suspect and so on.
Who writes the diaries/notes? And the do they actually fill the whole book, or just some pages? Sometimes, they seem to be full of text. Is that real?
Same questions about the website. Who physically writes it on the fake “website”? How much work goes into it? Do they expect people to pause and read very throughly?

It feels pointless to voice my thoughts because nobody seems to care. I reach out for help, try to start discussions, but I’m constantly ignored. It’s been a lifelong struggle—whether online or in real life, whenever I ask for something, it feels like I’m invisible. Nobody is listening. Nobody can hear me. I simply just do not exist.
Despite my efforts to provide feedback or assist others, responses are non-existent.
I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Maybe it’s my username or the length of my messages, but it seems people find flimsy excuses to ignore me. The frustrating part is I know they’re online; I see them being active. I hate the idea that I’m not entitled to a response because, honestly, how else can conversations happen?
Ghosting seems normalized, and it drives me crazy. I put myself out there despite my fears, and yet I get no response. It doesn’t matter if it’s a group chat, a text, or an email—everything I ask feels like it's unwanted. People only engage when it’s convenient for them, as if I’m an uninvited guest in their lives.
I genuinely don’t understand why basic communication has become so transactional. If someone has something to offer, they’re engaged; otherwise, you're just ignored. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel like I don’t deserve a response when all I want is to be heard. Ghosting is no joke—it’s really disheartening.
I genuinely want to help others solve their problems, yet it feels like my efforts are met with indifference. It's disheartening to think that my messages just aren’t registering, or worse, people simply choose to ignore me.
Why are people so self-centered? It’s as if they think, “Oh, you need something? Too bad,”
It’s not just about interaction; there are unspoken rules that decide who gets acknowledged. If someone dislikes your username, or they think your message is too long or overly emotional, don't even know you, do not like you, they won’t even bother to reply. I’ve tried changing my username, altering the way I communicate—nothing seems to work. It feels almost like a conspiracy against me, and it’s beyond frustrating.

I demand to be heard! Ghosting isn’t just a harmless joke; it actively shows people don't care about you.
it’s a painful silent treatment that would leave anyone feeling worthless and alone. Enough is enough!

I recently had my mirena coil fitted last week and my doctor advised me to carry on taking the mini pill for the first week after getting it fitted
During that week I had really elevated feelings of happiness, I felt so good and everything seemed great
Since Sunday I came off my mini pill and for the past week I’ve been extremely low and I can’t stop crying, I’m not in pain or anything like that just sobbing at everything
I do have some personal things going on, like family health issues, but they’re not detrimental and my family members will be okay but it’s difficult for them at the moment, but I cry the second I think about them rather than just being able to normally talk about the situation
My logical reasoning is the fact I had a double dose of the same hormones, and the changes in the past two weeks has just resulted in a massive change in my body and it’s just a period where it’s reacting to change and causing carnage
But I hope it’s just temporary and I’m really worried I don’t want to feel like this forever, has anyone else experienced this switching from one to the other?
