Remember this is Yugioh101, i'm returning to the game after many years and it has got more complex...
So, most Dark World monsters activate when they are discarded from the hand, some of them specify that it activates when they are "discarded by a card effect".
Last night I saw a situation where one X card (not a Dark World card) had the effect to discard a card from your hand as a cost, to activate another kind of effect (whatever it was...add, destroy, summon, etc.).
The Dark World player used that card, discarded a Dark World monster as cost and tried to activate that discarded Dark World monster's effect because it was discarded... but his opponent argued that as it was discarded as cost for the activation of the other card he couldn't activate the DW monster's effect, that DW cards effects that require them to be discarded by another card's effect activate only when the discarding happens as the result of the effect of the card that discarded the DW monster.
So I am quite confused...DW monsters that require to be discarded by a card effect to activate, Grapha for example, it doesn't activate if the discarding is part of the activation cost of the card that discarded it?
For example, if I use Twin Twisters and diacard Grapha as cost, Grapha's "if this card is discarded to the graveyard by card effect" doesn't activate?
Say, if so, the cost is not part of the effect then?

No PROUNI, aparentemente, eu vou seu obrigado a escolher para quais vagas eu quero concorrer. Se eu escolho PPI automaticamente não concorro na ampla concorrência?

Recently, in pics a redditor pointed out that there was a Senate meeting to change our constitution to not have abortion rights or funding for abortion.
It seeks to add a new section, Section 26, which explicitly states that the constitution should not be interpreted as granting a right to abortion or obligating the state to provide funding for abortions. This amendment is intended to protect human life by ensuring that abortion rights are not constitutionally guaranteed.This state is practically purple.. i am pretty upset by this news. It will eventually come down to a vote between the public.

2025.01.24 18:31 S_SubZero Does an "Easy button" app/tool to email an address exist?
We have a few thousand Macs in our fleet. We have a single email address that users are expected to email to create support tickets. This address is not advertised well enough apparently, and this means whenever a user wants to open a ticket with us, they start flailing and emailing anything in the global address list with "IT" or "support" type words in it. This is.. bad.. and I need to try to figure out how to make this not happen.
I'm trying to find some sort of ever-present on-screen widget or thing that can sit on the desktop, and when it's clicked, throws open the default email handler with our address in the to: field. I would take some initiative and try to write an Applescript to make a menu bar icon but I'm thinking this is so simple something like this must exist already and my search-fu is just failing me. Note I looked at xbar (BitBar) and wasn't able to figure out a plugin to do what I wanted.
