Chloe and Laura's girls are close in age, and it's such a drastic difference between how Chloe is parenting her daughter vs. Laura. Don't get me wrong, Chloe gets on my nerves sometimes too, but it's so obvious she's obsessed with both of her kids, and it looks like both Viv and Cal are truly happy.
... Then I look at poor Mia. No "dates with Mom", getting her nails done, shopping, or being allowed to buy a toy. I really thought Chloe's post highlighted just how different those two little girls are growing up.

So I'm in the process of finding a new home and home workshop. For at least the next few months, I'll be in temporary accommodation and no longer have access to my previous workshop, all of my beloved tools are in a storage unit.
It's only been a few days and I'm already feeling the boredom of not having an outlet and something to fill my spare time with. I'm thinking I should use this time to gain a new skill (or many) that I can then bring with me when I'm back making guitars. The will need to be mess- and pretty noise-free as I'm in an apartment for the foreseeable.
I've always enjoyed seeing leatherwork on a guitar, so that's an option. Also always meant to get into CNC (I handmake currently), so videos to get some knowledge on this might be good.
Wondering what you guys do that scratches a guitar-shaped itch (apart from making guitars)?

Refund ya deposit ikaingia 10th, obviously after wameslash some mediocre amount ati ju siku move out at the end of the month. By Sunday, hiyo doh ilikuwa almost kwinished. Started another week from square one. Applied for an instant loan from my work SACCO, got it on Thursday after visiting their office numerous times to inquire(ideally, an instant loan hutoka same day). By Monday, nishafyeka. Good thing salo nimelipwa 23rd. First paycheck of the year. I'm grateful.

I translated (and commented...) an extract from my professor's notes, I hope you can read my handwriting.
I just can't figure out 1 - why dP scales like 1/sqrt(m); 2 - how that would imply the number of distinguishable distributions between P and Q grows as sqrt(m) - given that dP = 1 defines two distinguishable distributions, the number of distinguishable distributions between P and Q should be exactly dP, and for distributions that are "far away" you should get dP = N > 1, which apparently scales like sqrt(m)... But didn't dP scale like 1/sqrt(m)? 3 - This is secondary, and I can get back to it once I understand the previous passages better, but how do we get to the actual expression for distance?
P and Q are generic distributions. I tried substituting the frequencies m+/m and m-/m with either Q or P, but I wasn't able to get to something. I'm lost, frankly.
