My Dad 59y/o 60kg 172cm Developed resistant to Imatinib after 15years. Last month doc changed the medication to Nilotinib. After taking it he started having extreme muscle pain pain.almost 24x7 and lost weight around 10kg in 10days. Became weakest he has ever been. Completely lost appetite. We consulted the doc, they suggested Dashatinib now instead. I don't know what will be the side effect now. He is still in firsst stange of Blood cancer. My mom is crying all the time so do other family members. I don't know if there's any betterment that can come in upcoming days.
Any experienced member here with similar incidents?

2025.01.24 14:30 squidguy_mc How do i transform buddys from school into real friends? Help!
Im M17 rn. I made most of my friends in ground school (1-4th grade), however after that we were seperated, there are different school types after ground school in germany and this way i ended up in 5th grade with all my friends being on a different school. I kept contact with all of them and also meet with them multiple times a year but i didn't make any friends in high school. Mainly because i was stuck in a class where nobody was interested in me at all even tough i tried everything and people just kept making fun of me until 11th grade (and COVID didn't help either). So i still have friends but i am totally unexperienced on how to make friends from school.
This year however everything changed. We dont have "classes" anymore but more like courses wich means every subject is with other people. Now i know lots of people and i also have some kind of "group" wich i hang out with in the breaks and 20-30 mins when school ends. Im just wondering how will i turn these people into actual friends? Im not sure if they are that interested in me because sometimes when the lesson ends im always slower than everybody else at packing my stuff and sometimes they leave before im finished with packing everything in my school bag. I dont know how i should proceed, ive already been partying with them once (wich was kind of initiated by me) and idk if i should ask them if we want to do such a thing again? And maybe them initiating something because for the past years it was most of the time me initiating something when meeting up with friends.
I also dont want to rush it because last year i was for example talking with someone and then just randomly asking them if they wanted to meet and we then met but there was just nothing after that, where i think i just did everything to fast i should not ask people to do activities together from just talking to each other for one time.
But i also feel pressured because i only got 1.5 years left and then school ends and everyone will go his own ways and if i dont manage to make the people that im hanging out with my friends until then i probably will never see them again.
Can someone maybe give some advice? I also thought about chatting with them but i feel like i dont even know what to say.

Hi! I started taking Topamax a couple of months ago and slowly upped my dose to 100mg. I can’t remember for the life of me if I took my dose last night or not. Im usually very regimented but I rearranged my night stand last night and where I usually put my pill bottle isn’t where it’s supposed to be so I’m all confused lol. I’m wondering if I should just skip the dose and wait to take my next dose tonight or risk taking what was supposed to be last nights dose right now? Sorry if this was confusing I’m really anxious I’m going to feel side effects. Thanks in advance ♥️
