If you're reading this, you're in a place of desperation, and I wanna tell you the truth, scrolling this subreddit won't make it any better. It's probably not what you want to hear but if you even think that you have TOCD stop looking for reassurance. Ik it's hard to quit the compulsions but the first and only one you must resist on your own is reassurance. It's the worst of them all and stopping only this will pay off.
Now on to me, I'm a lucky bastard because my theme changed back to HOCD and a snowball's chance in hell I'm trans. Now for personal reasons my OCD is still bad but meds made it better, and I'm not constantly suicidal. But I've been here, I;ve showed up to every NOCD and IOCDF webinar, I've watched all 4 yt videos on this theme( Chrissie Hodges, RogersBH, Nate and IOCDF Live) and don't use the for reassurance, DON'T.
And I've scrolled to the last of the comment section on every one of these videos in seen over 200 OCD videos, read 100+ articles, visited 100+ websites and spent 500+ hours on compulsions so I've been through this... BUT WHAT IS THIS GUY GETTING AT?
Well, since I've had it so bad with this theme. first thing, recovery IS possible and remember, people who recover don't come to post back on this forum
If you can afford meds or therapy, get them. Afraid they'll misunderstand your symptoms? Check large directories via the internet of therapists in your budget and are and STALK them until you find an OCD specialist, somebody who has tons of exp. in treating various themes of it and it HAS to be one if the only things they treat.
Can't get therapy? Meds. If you're afraid of misunderstanding again, tell them some made-up OCD symptoms of other themes(do your research) and procure them, acting your symptoms are quite severe(which they must be).
Can't get therapy or meds? DM me, I'm here for you at all times, Though keep in mind this is NOT treatment! The reason I’m posting here is because something has been eating at me for years. My bf and i have a shit sex life. We’ve been together for 4 years. Have a child together. The first year of dating I felt happy besides the fact he wouldn’t give me oral but he tried. Until he didn’t do anything at all for me anymore. I’ve tried everything. Ive tried talking to him calmly. we’ve done therapy. He’s gone to the doctor. Sometimes it gets better but by better I mean I pleasure him and get zero to little in return. Recently he was initiating by touching my thigh and we would have sex for a minute. He’d cum and that was it. It gets frustrating after a while of being turned on and then bam it’s over after one to five pumps. I’ve asked him one day if he could touch me and he just made a tired noise like “Mmph” then acted like he was sleeping. Almost in a comical way. It’s so painful.
This past month he initiated a few nights in a row in which I pleasured him and only him and got not even a kiss in return. Nothing. No touch. He refuses to reciprocate oral sex claiming he’s just not that into it. It made me self conscious so I asked if anything is wrong on my end and he says no and he would tell me if that was the case. I’ve told him that I need foreplay and I ask him if he would make out with me all of the time or touch me and somehow he always gets around it. Dismisses it or avoids by changing the conversation in another direction. Or says how busy and overwhelmed he is and he doesn’t want to argue or want to stress any more than he already is. I’ve heard it all. But the most recent convo went like this after I pleasured him and he didn’t reciprocate yet again.

Me: “can you at least give me a massage?” It’s pathetic how desperate I am at this point just to have any touch reciprocated. Him: “sorry babe not tonight maybe once my hip feels better”
Then after bringing up my frustrations, he stops any type of sex completely. Now we haven’t even had any sex. He’s not even initiating me touching him. It always ends up like this. He tries, it feels like it’s going to get better. I feel hopeful. I think we will continue to progress. Then it doesn’t and I feel unreciprocated. No foreplay. No touching me. After all this happened recently I fell and broke my ankle. I haven’t been able to do anything. Since it’s my right foot i can’t drive either. I can’t work. I can’t take care of my son. I need my bf to help me with almost everything. I’m using crutches right now but the doctor told me it’s going to take 8-10 weeks to fully heal. I’m wearing a walking boot and it’s misery. I feel trapped and helpless and I just wish my bf wanted to please me but he doesn’t. I know I deserve better but my situation makes it to whatever I choose my life will be shit. I don’t make enough money to get a place. I’d have to move back in with my mom which is another whole cluster fuck. In itself. I feel like giving up completely on life. I don’t see any way out that’s not complete suffering. I just don’t see any path leading to me ever living a life that’s worth it to me. To wake up and feel content in myself and to feel loved back.
