What would you do if you were me…
I’ve been dating a guy for about 7 months now…things have been good and i’ve enjoyed the way we have progressed since meeting each other.
Valentines is approaching…we haven’t talked about it but i’m curious if it’s necessary to get clarification on if we’re spending time together and exchanging gifts? or should i let him bring it up to me ?
we didn’t get anything for each other for Christmas. i’m not sure why? but we didn’t. but Valentine’s is different and i think we should be togetheexchange gifts. i genuinely want to get him a gift but it would be genuinely disappointed if doesn’t do anything for me.
(and im not focus on the transaction of it all, im focused on the thought & consideration of the action)
I’m starting to overthink on bringing it up to him because i do believe in the term “IF HE WANTED TO HE WOULD” but try not to equate that to him because he has shown up for me in a number of ways since we started dating (i.e mounted my new TV, fixed my bed set, etc.)
it just so confusing and i guess im a little fearful that he will not want to do anything for valentines since we’re not exclusive yet.
any advice?

2025.01.24 18:41 rodriguez2 Maintenance for higher mileage cars- What to Expect?
Hey everyone! I’m considering buying a Mini Cooper (manual, 3rd gen 2014+ models) in the UK. I’ve found a few 2015s with around 70k–90k miles. (hopefully, I want pepper or chili pack with cruise control, dual climate, parking sensors etc.)
Here is the question:
What usually needs replacing or fixing? For example, is it a plus if the clutch has already been replaced? If I have to replace it later, is it super pricey? (if it is 500-600 like RAC website says it's ok, if it is 2000 with labour, then expensive) I’m trying to figure out what big repairs might pop up after buying this car.
Because I will already be paying more to buy a Mini, and I've heard that owning a Mini/BMW, including its maintenance, can be costly. But I don't wanna get a Ford Fiesta or Toyota Yaris just because of that.
What do you think?
