This is not about driving or safety or anything like that. This is about kindness.
If you are a tourist visiting. If you’re a local who’s been cooped up at home: STAY HOME. As a retail worker who is being forced to work today because of my boss, you are an ah.
I don’t care that we would be open anyway. We still have things we could get done instead of you coming into our stores to just waste time.
And because people have been so obvious that they’ve never worked a real job before in this subreddit, let me explain how just “coming in to browse and try on a few pieces” is still very inconvenient: - every day there are a million things that we have to do no matter how many customers or staff we had. - already we had callouts due to car accidents/snow related issues - when you come in, we have to keep an eye on you. It’s literally our job. Not because we think you’re gonna steal, but because we don’t know you and need to, for liability and loss prevention. Which means we now have to watch you instead of doing other things. - when you touch racks and clothes, we have to go back and fix that. Even if you think you’re helping by putting it back or “refolding” it, we still have to go behind you and redo it all. Every time. - when you try on clothes, we have to check those clothes before and behind you and clean your room and help you with sizes.etc. Therefore again not able to do other things. - WE DONT WANT TO BE HERE AND YOURE MAKING IT WORSE
Retail stores are non essential. Just because they’re open doesn’t mean you should go in and bother people for no reason. I don’t care how nice you think you are or if you’ve worked customer service before: you still suck.
It’s icy, snowy, cold. Do you really want to go out in this weather where cars have been flipped, where people have slipped and broken bones, where there’s potential flus and sicknesses???
When was the last time you hung out with your family? Your roommates? Go on a walk. Watch a movie. Make a recipe. Take a bath. Clean your house (because u know its dirty and when was the last time you washed those sheets?)
It’s one thing to go to a grocery store, it’s been a couple days and you need food. But anything non essential?

I saw this quote on an Instagram page. The person running it seems very knowledgeable, but I want to know more about it. Does anyone know how authentic this quote is, what Nietzsche's original words were, and what he truly thought about the Manusmriti? I've also heard that he liked it—did he support the Indian caste system, which the Manusmriti plays a very big role in supporting? What were Nietzsche's views on the Indian caste system overall?
(Note: I haven't read any of Nietzsche's works or the Manusmriti yet. I’m just curious, so I thought I should ask here.)

One of the things I don't like about ios 16 which I'm running now on my main phone is the change they made to how notifications work - they can be hard to find and sometimes disappear before I get enough time to look at them. Never had this issue with ios 15. Is there any tweak that addresses this?

So the fan translation has us learning about Ancient Giant Blood/lineage, and that King Harald ripped his own horns off because he wasn't proud of them.
(Also, fun that the Giants were hats with horns to honor their bloodline)
But I think the reason Loki killed him is because Harald made a deal with the World Gov., and had the teleportation pentagram installed after his horns were ripped off by a member of the Gods Knights.
I think Harald, as fierce and benevolent as he was, was under the heel of the WG and Celestial Dragons. And was being forced to slowly phase out the battle-hungry nature the giants have. And Loki found out about this and vowed to put an end to it.
Perhaps the reason the Gods Knights want Loki so badly is because he knows too much, and it'd be better to have a Giant in their ranks than to end a lineage worth controlling

Hello everyone! I’m currently prepping some R3D footage in a way I’ve never had to before. To put it simple, I have to export proxies for Avid from premiere. I exported a file to test it (DNxHR LB 8-bit) along with the project’s .ale yesterday and today the editor’s saying that I also need to send an MXF file per audio channel it has. How do I go about that? I tried separating the mono tracks and nothing. I tried setting the sequence as multichannel and nothing. Everything I try ends up with a single MXF file with video and audio in that single file. Would it be better if I do it from another program? ME? DaVinci?
I’m currently working on Premiere 25.1.0 (my company loves having the most updated version idfk why)

Hello! Mag ask lang sana ako kung sino may gamay sa meta. Few months ago kasi nahack yung account ng client ko tapos sa IG siya nanggaling and umabot siya sa Fb meta (kung yun man tamang term, di ako maalam sorry) so under business portfolio tapos users, andon pa yung user niya tapos nakalagay full control sa everthing pero inactive naman na few months ago na rin kasi napalitan naman namin agad password and all. Hindi ko siya maremove. Sabi “__ created the business portfolio. You can’t remove them” paano siya matanggal, nag send nako feedback form sa meta, pero is there other way ba? Idelete ko na lang tong business portfolio tapos gawa na lang ako bago???? Huhuhuhu
