Hi there,
I’m in kind of a frustrating position where the PSLF government job I have working for the last 9 years was recently cut. I only need 1 more year of PSLF qualified employment to get my loan potentially forgiven.
Background: I’m an Optometrist in Orange County, CA (I work 3 days in a private practice) but need to put together 30 hours/week at a nonprofit or government position for PSLF eligibility. I’m willing to work any entry level assistant/front desk/etc position. Ideally hybrid but can maybe work something out with child care.
The few job listing sites I’ve researched have not been fruitful thus far, I’m mostly finding places that need attorneys.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

I am garbage at pixel art, especially without a stylus, so unfortunately making one myself is out of the question.

I’m wondering if I could get some opinions about posting review videos to Pinterest: can it actually generate traffic to your affiliate links? are there any rules (or do you have to specify your post as an ad)? any hashtags that are helpful/required? is it worth it? I just got approved to the program a couple months ago, and for reference I make 300-400 per month with less than 200 review videos. What are the best ways to maximize income if I’ve already reviewed pretty much everything on Amazon I own? My girlfriend cheated on me, first of all about a year into our relationship she messaged her ex partner and it was a little sus to the point where I saw the messages and she had basically asked him if he found her attractive still, she says she asked this for closure so I learned to move on and trust her again, the relationship btw has been perfect we are 3 years in and head over heels in love with each other, we don’t argue maybe get moody once in a while but apart from that it’s the fairytale couple, laugh, smiling, dates just everything you could ask for, the only problem I now face is that it’s been all ruined by one mistake, I still feel the same way to her but I have lost trust and that’s what we’re made from, she decided to download a dating app the only way I found out was from seeing screenshots of profiles on her phone, when confronted she admitted but said she didn’t add anybody or talk to nobody and deleted it within a day realising that there could be no replacement for me, she also says that she didn’t know why she did it so I gave her time to think and get back to me, her answer was that she truly didn’t know and wasn’t thinking about me or us at the time but she relates it closest to she has a very troubled past childhood family problems lots of fighting and love being broken when young she has also been through some relationships where she has been let down every time and she thinks in her later life it has taken a toll on her mental health and decision making, so in her words she said “I feel like I self sabotaged and I think that I did it because I was afraid what was so amazing was just fake like it always has been in my life and I was preparing for something to fall back on but changed my mind pretty quickly when I realised what I was doing”. I do believe in trauma and that it can really effect people at different times of there life and that sometimes there mind is cloudy and they don’t think of loved ones I completely get that but I vowed to myself if she ever broke my trust again that would be it. The hardest part I’m now going through after ending it is was that proper cheating and does she just need help like I said earlier we was the fairytale couple so is all the good we have over the years does that outweigh these mistakes because I still want my whole life with her and to grow old together and she feels the same and has said nothing but sorry and cried for forgiveness saying she would never ever do that again. What does everyone who reads this recommend should I scrap what I vowed and be the bigger person should I take this as a stepping stone just a roadblock in the relationship and grow and learn together or should I just take all the good and leave it now. Self love is a massive thing to me but the love we have built together makes this challenging.

35M, no previous diagnosis. Had an abdominal ct scan and it came back negative. Had my first full stool this morning after being a bit irregular and being constipated for 2 days. The bottom half of my stool was brown and the top was very dark. It wasn’t completely dark, there were bits of brown in there. Should I be concerned? I’ll post a pic in the comments.

I've been sitting with a nonfunctional range (stove/oven) since early December (through the holidays and now into the foreseeable future). I initially got advice about gas v electric, and I was going to just stay with gas. (We currently have a dual-fuel, so this is a downgrade.)
Cost is an issue.
I don't cook a lot -- just basic things. But after two months without a stove....
Gas and electric stoves are almost identical in price.
However, because we have dual-fuel, either option I go with requires additional cost:
A: Gas replacement: requires installation of gas shutoff at stove (~700) and downgrade of electrical plug from 220 to 110 (~700). (I realize this may seem high based on where you are. Trust me, these estimates are depressing.)
B: Electric replacement: requires capping the gas at stove (TBD, but I assume it will be several hundred based on those other estimates) and can then use the existing electrical.
C: Dual-fuel replacement: there aren't many options, and they are more expensive anyway. Would still require a gas shutoff at the stove be installed (it must not have been standard 20+ years ago when the stove was put in).
D: Induction: not really interested.
Reality tells me I probably won't be with this stove for more than a year or so. I'm worried that a basic electric oven might have less value down the road, but even so, given the numbers, downgrading to electric might make the most sense?
I'm unclear how much switching to electric might really change the electric bill (which is insane in CA).
