We put in the carpet in our house approximately 5-6 years ago, millennial gray ( unfortunately currently regretting that decision) We have a dog- low odor actually pretty clean given she's a dog not oily and a 3 year old. I am using a commercial grade carpet cleaner and I cannot for the life of me get this water not to look brown...is this typical? We don't have major stains and are a shoe free house I just got the urge to clean the carpets they don't really look dirty. Or are we getting to the point we may need to replace the carpet for sanitary reasons.

 | 43 and 2 months in to my beard journey. I’ve always kept a nice, short, trimmed face. Every time I’ve tried growing a longer beard I made rookie mistakes like trimming up the neck line and not giving the beard the base it needed. I got a nice wash, conditioner, oil, and balm for Christmas that feels like it’s working well. 2025.01.24 19:31 allydiditagain I finally let go of my failed relationship
A year ago I posted about getting an abortion with at the time my boyfriend of 2+ years. I wanted to keep the baby and he did not. I ended up going through with the abortion and staying in my relationship. A year later after being very careful and taking precautionary steps I ended up getting pregnant again. I am 31 going on 32 and he still wasn’t ready. I have no kids and he has a soon to be 4 year old.
It hurts but after this abortion I am emotionally exhausted and decided to end things. I’ve been no contact for a couple of days. I don’t like to complain or talk to others about my personal issues and this was my only way to get this off my chest.
I am sad and lonely but I know in the long run it will be for the best. I just want a lot of resentment towards him and feeling like I’ve been dragged along for no reason.

Hi folks! I currently have hughesnet as my ISP. The service has been horrendous! After the 200gb data cap it’s extremely slow, and all of my computers, gaming consoles, and phones are always out of date. I recently learned I can get Starlink at my home, but it will cost around 500$ to get it set up. If I pay that this week, does anyone know when I will be able to get the equipment to set it up? Is it a long wait? I’m in Kentucky if that matters. I’m just very tired of feeling restricted with hughesnet and I am so tired of paying for data tokens! Any help or advice would be appreciated, thank you!

 | So I have this cheap asf meta team (next slide) which I use for playing H2H and I tried many strikers to play with but kept coming back on R9. You all know how good all of his cards are. Anyways, Pros: Super fast. Feels much faster than 136 pace in game. He can still outpace 90% of high ovr defenders with ease. Shooting is insane; 5 weak foot obviously helps but he can shoot from literally anywhere. Finesse is insane, power shot is insane and mostly delivers when needed. Dribbling is way too good and he doesn't lose the ball easily. Perfect agility despite being decently tall. His default skill move (lane change) works amazingly. He's also surprisingly strong and the 96 physical stat is misleading as he sometimes wins aerial duels too. Cons: Not really a con but power shots with his weaker foot sometimes are not that good but I can't really complain because he's already so good for a base card. I am having trouble understanding what will set me apart, give me advantages, and land me a job with a company or agency. I feel like my approach has been very proactive so I'm unsure what I'm missing or doing wrong.
I have an AAS in graphic design. Ive been applying for 5 months, over 500 applications (through LinkedIn, company/agency website hiring portals, and purely reaching out through email/phone without being invited) and i have only been receiving rejection responses.
I put time into my applications, researching the brand / company i am applying for before i apply. I made a list of all the companies and agencies i want to work for and reached out to them all.
I worked beyond my generic school projects and tailored my portfolio to some more specific fields of design. Merchandise Design, Packaging Design, and Branding/Identity. I put 9 months into my portfolio, building projects I thought would give me an edge and highlight my strengths.
Im feeling pretty bummed and losing hope. Is it my portfolio? Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

Current proud owner of a 2018 Toyota Camry XSE with 150k miles. Likely to soon be former proud owner as my brother-in-law got into an accident while driving it on a road trip with my wife and I.
I know the responsible choice would be to just put pending insurance payout (probably in the neighborhood of $10-12K) towards a newer hybrid Camry XSE, but my wife and I both love wagons and if not now, when? I've looked online at e450 wagons, A4 and A6 allroads, and it seems like the best bang-for-your buck in my price range is a V90CC. Going to test drive the V60 as well but I've already kind of talked myself into the larger wagon if we don't get another Camry.
Budget: $25K-$45K (assuming ~$20K down and the rest financed over 60 months)
Purpose: reliable New England daily commuter (50 miles round trip) while also being good for weekend camping/skiing/grocery trips with the occasional longer road trip. Maybe hauling a couple kids in the next 5 years.
Needs: comfortable for larger people (I'm 6'2 with other tall family members), decent storage space, reliable, in price range with under 50K miles, and will last longer than the length of the loan.
Wants: decent fuel economy (25+ mpg), doesn't handle like a Corolla, premium touches (moonroof, leather, nice sound system), physical buttons for audio and climate.

my back hurts ? i can get a massage from him. i want a takeaway ? i have someone to pay for half of it. i'm sleepy ? i have someone to stroke my hair and scratch my back until i fall asleep. i dont want to order at a restaurant ? he can do it for me AND he'll probably pay too. i want a new stuffed animal ? his card is on the reader and the stuffed animal is in my arms before i can even say it's cute. having a shitty day ? i have someone to come and give me a kiss and tell me everything's okay. i wanna go to a concert or a restaurant or something ? automatically have someone to go with me. loads of extra gifts for my birthday and christmas as well as being able to celebrate valentine's day. my room always looks nice because i have flowers on the windowsill. i could never get my anxiety to go away until i met him and he held my hand and everything melted away, and now all i need is for him to hold my hand and i feel okay again. being in a relationship is so fun and convenient

My husband and I are joint holders of a USAA Checking account. In the last year everything has changed as to how we are able to manage things. First they disabled his debit card despite it not expiring. Then It took 4 phone calls to try to rectify this. No one could explain and no one could help me. Then they agreed to close his card and send a new one attached to our checking account. Even though it was their doing they insisted on charging us $20.00 to expedite it. We are traveling so I didn't want it to arrive if we were not here on that particular date. Then I activated his card. He went to use it but it wouldn't work. We thought that maybe we need to set up a new pin so went in to the account only to find that his card doesn't show up. I guess it might show on his personal USAA account but we never go into that unless we are applying for a car loan jointly. We are unable to get into his USAA account to see what is up. When we got a loan in May of 2024 we had a bit of a rough time doing the loan and needed to gain access to his account only to find that when we try to go in on our own that it isn't accessible. My husband does none of the financial things so it is pretty important that I am able to access whatever it is that we need. Now we can't set a new pin because it isn't showing and it isn't telling us why he isn't able to use it. Today I looked on my USAA and found a place to change pins and his card showed up. We are going to try that today and hopefully he can use our debit card. When did things get so complicated? I do not have any problems with other accounts. I am thinking we may just open a Charles Schwab checking for the benefits it offers. I am a 51 year member of USAA and use their insurance, loans and keep 1 checking account. We only use 2 Visas and they are both USAA. I have removed most of my money from the account and only am keeping a minimal amount in there to keep it open but am hugely disappointed.
