Hi everyone, I am always wanting to be real and authentic, even about the worst aspects of myself. And so I just have something I wanted to address that happened awhile back. Around last Winter I believe, I was walking around Denton near the square at Quakertown park. I was more or less on a date, walking through the park, when I heard a scream like “no, don’t!!” and when I turned my head to look it looked like someone had been pushed into a nicer suv and then the suv and another car sped off.
In the moment, I had at least an inkling of what had happened in my mind, because it was kind of a shock and it happened so fast. The person I was with didn’t seem to think it was much of anything, but after a little bit I definitely did. I knew it was something more. A literal kidnapping or human trafficking, and I didn’t call the police or anything. I partly didn’t because it happened so fast that I didn’t think anything could be done, but I also partly didn’t because I didn’t want it to interrupt my date.
That’s so profoundly idiotic that I’m still unraveling it now. It didn’t come from a genuine place of stupidity, but from a place of being mentally and emotionally drained and burned out to the point that at that point in time in my life I felt nothing really. I was mentally lacking empathy at the one time it was life-altering for someone else. I did call the police the next day but that was the extent.
I am sorry for failing to act, and I plead for forgiveness in Jesus name, and post this with His strength.

Hello. I am sorry English is not my first language so be patient with me.
For starters I'm am not going to give any names or addresses or personal information as I don't want any creeps trying to track down my friend.
Instead, what I am looking for is a step-by-step guide to use various social media to track down my friend.
We had been friends for almost 15 years and had lived through our best and worst years together. We had always been more like family than friends.
Eventually she went down the "sexy model" route and I, a very modest person (and raised strictly as such, and proud also!) , was not able to accept her choices. I tried to support her best I could but it felt wrong to me. I did for a while but she became more and more provocative and started taking unnecessary risks. Before anyone comes after me, I want to also say there was a young girl that was living with my friend (a single mother) that was showing increasing signs of body dismorphia and depression the more and more her mother flaunter her body in public. The child would be embarrassed to see her mother try to flirt with carnies for free candy at the fair.
I tried having these conversations with her but it didn't make a difference. It wasn't until something very traumatic happened to her daughter (she is relatively okay) that I had to put my foot down and I decide that I could no longer be around to see her daughter be ruined when I couldn't interfere or change her mind on how her lifestyle has been affecting her child.
I said some horrible things they I should have never said and I regret saying them to his day. They still play over and over in my mind. I do not blame her for hating me and potentially not wanting to speak to or even hear from me ever again.
It has been over two years since we have talked and I have noticed she is no longer doing her modeling (her Instagram account is dormant and is losing followers). She has me blocked on Facebook and as I only have about 40 friends on Facebook and her and I lived very different lifestyles throughout our friendship, we had very few mutual friends. The ones that I did have in common with her responded to me with "we haven't spoken in years." I do not have other social medias and do not know how to use them or what her names would be on them. I do not want to make a fake Facebook account to find her because I think that is very disrespectful and a little scary.
So now the dilemma continues. As I have moved twice since our falling out and have changed my phone number. I believe she has also moved and whether she changed her number or not it is not important because I no longer have it stored anywhere on my phone.
I really don't have anyone to ask about her and if there are people out there, I cannot for the life of me remember their last names.
In fact, I can't exactly remember how to spell her last name, as it was very long and in a foreign language and I was never able to fully spell it. It was a long running joke between the two of us that she could not pronounce my last name correctly (I am of a very different nationality) and I could not spell hers.
She was unemployed at the time of our fight so I do not have a work address to visit or to contact. I drove to her last known address about a month ago but her car was not there and there was no answer. The name on the mailbox slot was empty. Her last known home is over an hour and a half from where I am currently living and I cannot realistically drive out there during different parts of the day to see if she still lives there.
Her ex husband is not on Facebook and I do not have his contact information. They were on again off again during the last few years and I thought maybe she had moved back with him. I had driven to his house twice (another hour from me but on the way to the city) but there was no answer. I Ieft a note on the door with my phone number but I never received a response.
I do not know what school her daughter would be in and I also do not want to start asking around for a child because that is also very scary.
I very much want to apologize to her as I have realized that I was far too harsh and should have been a better friend to her and guided her better not scold her.
What other things can I do to try to find her? I do not want to involve random people as I am worried of people's safety should bad people want to find them.
Please help me find my friend.

We tend to blame technology itself for distracting us — the rings, dings and pings that pull us in — but nearly as often we distract ourselves: a thought, memory, or impulse arises within us, compelling us to take some sort of action (look up something on youtube, text a friend, google some wild question we didn't know you needed to know until now).
There's definitely a relationship between the two: Technology can often trigger the thought, memory, or impulse. And it makes it super easier to look up a thought.
But even when you turn your phone off and lock it in a safe in order to do some deeply focused work, odds are you're going to be continuously distracted by your own mind.
And that's an entirely different problem to solve.

Hi ladies!
I got the Mirena IUD inserted about 3.5 years ago (it’s the 6-year version). Since hitting the 3-year mark, I’ve started getting my period again—just very light spotting for a few days, no big deal.
However, it’s been coming with PMS symptoms I never had before, like acid reflux and migraines. Lately, I’ve noticed some new symptoms as well. My period is due in 6 days, and for the past few days, I’ve been dealing with:
• Daily nausea a couple of hours after waking up
• Heightened senses of smell and taste (for example, I love spicy food, but even mildly spicy dishes have been overwhelming lately)
• Extreme fatigue
• Migraines
Has anyone else experienced pregnancy-like symptoms the longer they’ve had their IUD? Thanks in advance! <3

I have been going through some major depression in the past 12 months or so and just want to share the first good news I had in a long time.
I posted something earlier about asking for help and advice with tuition assistance for a training program I want to attend.
I just got the email from the school that I got their scholarship to attend it for free due to my financial situation.
I hope i can get the training done and finally get a job cause man not having a job really sucks when you are poor….
Anyway, that’s all.
Don’t have many friends to share the news with.
And I also want to take this opportunity to thank all the kind people that’s been giving me words of support in the past few venting post I made.
I hope I won’t be making any more of those. And it does really help. Even though it’s from complete strangers and it’s online. I hope this is a sign that things will finally get better for me.
