Heyo,
I finally got the kit required to access the 1tb harddrive from my old laptop that fried out (motherboard issues from overheating) 4 years ago. I'm trying to access the Ableton projects I'd created on it but the only .Als files I can find are all in the recycling bin, which I think is something ableton does when new saves are made of a project while its open. Otherwise the project folders and .Als files can't be found.
Since I'm trying to access these through a mac I figure there are additional complications going on here but I can't find any advice out there on how I would search through this stuff on this device. Hope someone can advise here, and that the question is appropriate for the subreddit, I know it's quite niche.

okay so basically whenever i click on my sim or any other sim theres a delay thats about 7 seconds. its really annoying and i cant play properly, i know that its because of mods, actually its mostly the mods that give you a lot of interactions such as lumpinou mods or sacrificial mods. i know that this is a common issue and i have seen some of possible fixes, such as removing all of your mods etc, but does anyone have a solution how to stop it from lagging without removing my mods? thank you!

I was recently approved for a Platinum card. Long story short so far it has been an absolute nightmare. Received the card at the end of 2024, The card was never used. I realize there is no pre set spending limit on the card however to maximize your spending power the card needs to be used & paid frequently.
A few weeks ago I went to use the card for a fairly substantial purchase of around 5k. I thought this is great I get to use the card and accumulate points towards the SUB. Unfortunately this was declined, and it than it raised a red flag on Amex end and sent my profile into “Financial Review” …
This has since been cleared up and I’ve been given the “ok” to use the card as normal…
How am I supposed to maximize utilization if the card gets declined over a 5k purchase? How do you establish a spending power if they decline such transactions?
Seems redundant… so far I’ll stick to my gold card …

I have D4 and Vessel of Hatred on my PC at launch and also just regular D4 on my PS5. This season I am enjoying playing on my PS5 more because I can chill out on the couch. I am having a hardtime on what exactly I am missing with and without the expansion Vessel of Hatred. I can use runewords this season, besides the Spiritborn class and the new map region.
So instead of buying Vessel of Hatred on my PS5 too, I can bascially play the early game on my PS5 and log onto my PC if I need access to the end game raid stuff?

I'm 18 years old now. Back 3 years ago, when I was 15, I stumbled upon this topic about female teachers molesting male students. And I became obsessed about it. I was shocked at the double standard and the comments specifically. I was always sensitive about this topic and it was basically the only thing I was thinking about from the time span I was 15 - 17. I remember searching up these stories, which got millions of views on youtube, going into the comment section and reading. Every. Single. Comment.
I remember arguing on twitter about this topic. Sometimes my screen time was 10 hours a day. And it was just twitter, or youtube. I was basically spending the whole day just going around getting upset about this double standard.
Now this topic stuck around in my head since I was 15 and caused a lot of mental health issues. It was always in head, every single day. I couldn't pull myself out of it. My mind was always occupied. It was like every day there were 300 tabs running in the background in my head. I was never present in the moment. I was lonely, had bad social skills etc.
I remember I had this friend. My only friend basically. Whenever I was at his place, his mom was there. She's 44. I was 17 at the time. She was always really affectionate towards me. She gave me this warm comfortable feeling. It made me really like her. She always asked me lots of questions. She's like a mother figure to me. I grew up without a mother. My mother was an alcoholic.
In September last year, we went to italy. Me, my friend, and his mom. I don't know who's idea it was, but we had this idea to drink alcohol in the evening after going to the beach. On one evening my friend went upstairs to go to sleep while me and his mom were downstars.
Usually I was always really shy, and quiet around her. That's how I always was. Quiet, shy, awkward. But when I drank alcohol I felt completely different. All of my inhibitions went away. I felt like myself again. I was social, outgoing and made her laugh even. And then I told her that I like her and that I wish I was born in 1980, where she was born. I remember hearing the words "I like you too" and " You're cute" coming back. She got up and made me follow her into the bedroom. I was totally drunk and everything happened automatically. I remember she didn't drink nearly as much as I did. She got into her bed and made this gesture that I should come into her bed too. And then I just started kissing her. This was the first time I have ever kissed a woman. Then there's a cut in my memory. Now she was on top of me. We were both fully clothed. While she did some movements on top of me, I would run my hands through her head and repeat "You're so beautiful".
After I woke up my heart was racing. And she was already awake in bed. She even put her hands on my chest to feel my heart beat. It was weird. It felt like she was my mother.
My friend didn't notice.
I remember I thought I was really bad at kissing.
So much more happened. It's too much to write down now. In the morning, after that night she told me that she wants to talk to me alone later. So when we drove home, while my friend had to go outside of the car to do something and went into a rest stop I would say "So we're just gonna sit here in silence and not say anything". And she said back "Well now you did say something". Then she said that I should call her. Which I did 2 days later when we had our first date. We first went onto this field. It was evening and the sky was orange. And her eyes started to tear up even because she thought she was a terrible mother. Over the 2 months I was at her place 3 times, while my friend stayed at his fathers place. We had sex every time I was at her place. My friend never found out. Until one day, when I went to his place to hangout with my friend, thinking his mom wasn't there... Well she was there unexpectedly. This time it was different. She wanted to hug me whenever my friend was not in sight. And we would kiss each other while my friend was in his room for example. Oh my god. I remember we were in the discord call and... I had my laptop. I was in the living room with my laptop while his mom was next to me. And me and his mom talked. And I jokingly started a discord call. And while me and my friend were in the discord call, his mom basically told me "Hey look at what I just sent you over the phone"... Basically hinting that I got his moms phone number.
And later, that evening, we watched a movie together. Me and my friend slept in the living room. So when my friend fell asleep... His mom would come up to me.. while the movie was playing. And she would start to kiss me. upside down basically. Like in the spiderman movie. She was at the upper side of my bed. Then she whispered into my ears "We could go to the kitchen or somewhere else" I felt horrible but.. I got up. And we had sex in her bedroom while my friend slept in the living room.
After this night everything changed. I think he found out. Because after that, he acted differently. He started listening to different music. And it just made me really stressed out. I was thinking about killing myself. And that was in december. Right now it's january. We went skiing. And... his mom basically taught me how to ski the first day. So basically me and his mom did more together than me and him. I remember seeing him starting to cry as we were skiing and suddenly his mom came to talk to me and basically take me away from him. She didn't notice him crying. And now whenever we are in a discord call, he's pretending nothing happend, just as I am.
But I think I can't. I don't know what to do. He's my only friend. And she's my girlfriend. And I'm an asshole. I always read about these reddit stories about "i slept with my friends mom" and now that it happened to me.. Like what do you do in such a situation? I feel lost.
