I was trying to astral project for about 4 months, I tried everything I used guided meditation also but all in vain, today I was trying to astral project but I got into sleep, after Some time my father woke me up, then I again tried to sleep but this time I had a sudden vibrations I assume that I will astral project today and then suddenly It felt like my body was moving up in air like a balloon, I was not completely conscious but I felt that time my body was going up I also moved my arms and I knew I was astral projecting, but I didn't saw anything it was dark, I didn't tried to open my eyes as I thought it will end my ap, it was in my mind that in ap we see not through eyes but by our pinial gland, I tried but I didn't saw anything and it just lasted for only few minutes then on its own I returned to my body. please let me know how to see while ap

Hii! I'm just curious if any optom Courses have cadaver labs bc ik lots of the USA schools do. I also wanted to know if anyone is knowledgeable about the curriculum. I've looked into the courses but I'm just curious how broad the courses are. Do they teach about the full body and like diverse pathology?
I'm just curious because I know students in the usa who talk about learning about full body pharmacology, different kinds of testing, different types of medication administration like injections, etc. So I want to know if waterloo teaches the same.

2025.01.24 20:31 ehopper19 Why are Seasons 5 and 6 not generally not fan favorites?
From scrolling through comments and threads in here, it seems like a majority of users enjoy the earlier seasons most and S6 especially has pretty mixed feelings amongst the community. Most of the reasons i see for this are ‘it got too depressing’ or ‘the plot/storyline is less engaging’ which I totally feel, but that’s the point. The last 2 seasons make it pretty clear that this is the end through their lighting and coloring, killing off of characters and overall impending sense of doom throughout the final episodes. I know many people feel empty after finishing the series, but that’s what it’s all about. Tony progressed into that void through the series, as did just about every character in one way or another. I see so much season 6 hate but it has some of the best, most important scenes, dialogues and symbolism that the series has to offer.

2025.01.24 20:31 httpshassan I’m taking a no calculator calculus class next semester. I can’t do basic arithmetic in my head tho 😭
it’s quite embarrassing to say this, but since i’ve been able to use a calc for all my math classes in high school, i basically havwnr done a single calculation in my head (other than like super simple stuff)
but like operations on fractions are so hard to do without a calculator for me. Like i know how to add subtract multiply and divide fractions on paper, but just looking at the numbers and coming to an answer without writing the whole thing on paper is quite challenging for me.
are there any strategies for learning how to do this things super quickly? do i just do a ton of 4th grade arithmetic worksheets or is there a more efficient way to go about it?
i’m guessing the most important part is learning to multiply multi digit numbers quickly, cause that’s necessary for adding and subtracting fractions. I just haven’t had to learn something so “simple” in very long.

So basically, I can't go to soccer practice for 2 whole months because I have AP Maths classes at exactly the same time. Currently what I'm doing is running 3km, 2 to 3 times a week at an average pace.
So besides that, what solo soccer drills could I do that will improve my overall ability in football? I'm a right footed left-back, but I'm trying to get better and fitter to be able to play cdm.
And about my soccer abilities- I only started taking it seriously last year, so I'm not that great at it. I can marque, dribble and stuff but I'm not very consistent so I should definitely better my technical abilities like ball control, first touch, awareness, run with the ball etc.

I just had an appointment with a doctor to talk about my imaging I got this past Saturday. She tells me that I have a bad disc bulge and I need to talk to a neurosurgeon. I'm pretty new to this sciatica thing, but pain has gone from a 5/10 to a 2/10 these days. I've been very careful to not lift or overexert my self day to day.
She started to tell me that at my age [22M], I should consider surgery. If I hold out on it, it can cause major problems later in my life. I will need to talk to the neurosurgeon on options that I have. What do y'all think. Should I consider surgery? Am I cooked?

I’m planning to move to Madrid for an Erasmus exchange, and I’ll be studying at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Pozuelo de Alarcón. However, I love the idea of living closer to the city center to experience all the culture, nightlife, and convenience Madrid has to offer.
But here’s my concern:
- The university is a bit outside the center, and I’m worried about how practical it will be to commute every day.
- Do you think living in the center is manageable for someone attending UFV? Are the commutes too long or exhausting?
- If I get the pass for Zone B1, does it fully cover all the transport I’d need? For example:
- Metro: Lines like 3 or others.
- Buses: Lines like the 659 or 657 to UFV.
- Trains: Cercanías C-10.
