We can't even change a speck of our hair from black to white (i like black to white, our hair turning from a dark shade of color, inevitably to white ultimately); anything more than 'yes' or 'no' we've said ever since The Sermon On The Mount regarding the influences of the ideas of a God or Afterlife, and the influence of an Earth—humans, our peers, our contemporaries and the wieght their influence has upon us (hence racism), only comes from a worry, a need, desire, or fear for ourselves: a selfishness; it would only be "blind men leading other blind men." This would include questions like: "what does this God(s) or Afterlife truly consist of, and what does it mean for me, and/or my contemporaries?" Or: "what is absolutely true?" The peace we find in taking oaths to the man made answers we find to these questions only come from evil: a worry, need, fear or desire for ourselves—a selfishness. I believe in an unimaginable God(s) or creator(s) of some kind, just for context, but I agree with Jesus that anything more then this would only come from evil: a selfishness.
Oath-taking, so to speak, only holds the potential to divide us (40k different ways, apparently, yes there's roughly that many sects) and even lead us into iniquity to any degree; iniquity defined by the precept captioned "The Golden Rule" and even described as "the Law and the Prophets:" “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." - Matt 7:12
Oath-taking—considering things as infallibly or as unquestionably true; absolutely true—leads us into things like racism, slander, hate between one portion of people against another, war between nations, not being united in selflessness—divided 40k different ways in its regard; potentially defiling ones mind into thinking just about anything, like Paul, convinced persecuting early followers of Jesus' teaching was right, true and just beyond any shadow of a doubt—due to the oaths he's taken, both either figuratively and literally to either himself, or anything else; throwing the supposed Messiah (not to mention anyone at in the first place) up on a cross; to be convinced what the Pharisees have to say is as true as what the Pastors or Fathers of today have to say, especially regarding the influences of the idea of a Heaven—a God and an Afterlife.
It's the opposite of oath-taking, and a close mind that's lead to Christianity at all in the first place; how ironic the extent it presently advocates the very kind of oaths that would've lead to it never being considered to begin with, and Jesus himself not being able to see past the fear for himself that's been inculcated into him by the dogma of his day, to see past what was presently being held as infallible, to find the truth that's been smothered by it, becoming a yet another Pharisee himself otherwise. Jesus, with an open mind, and seeing the dogma of the day as questionably true, opposed to unquestionably true (exactly how most sects of Christianity consider their interpretations presently) like the Pharisees would and even teach others to do the same, was able to find the truth that wasn't The Nicene Creed (in my opinion, obviously), but our capacity for love as a species, and the knowledge of the relevance and potential of returning and degree of it, for evil done; to potentially reach a day where violence, at the very least, is considered a laughable part of our past like the idea of a King is to us now, or not being able to fly around in airplanes; to potentially even cure the world of at least the majority of hate, evil, and division within it, but especially to lead us away from this life of hell we ultimately dig for ourselves when we build our house (our life) on the sand, like most people, and to instead take the path that's more difficult, and less attractive to most people: a life of selflessness, and build our house (our life) up on the rock, becoming a son or daughter of "our Father" ourselves.

I posted a few days ago about me feeling like I’m drowning. I got a lot of advice about Cosleeping so I’m doing that with my little guy. My girl sleeps great. She will only wake up once a night if her brothers not waking her up, and I know if I had her in bed with us, she would wake up from movement. So I let her sleep in her crib still. I feel so bad though, like I’m choosing a favorite, and that she’s going to think I love her brother more. They are only 7 months (will be 7 months on the 26th) 5 months adjusted. How do I get over this guilt?

I’m so glad I’ve found a community where I can discuss this without judgment or bullying. I should’ve known there was an interracial relationship sub years ago.
I just started dating a new guy, he is white and we hit it off immediately. I don’t have a preference and I have dated the rainbow but it seems white men have the most interest in me because I’m on the smaller side. We met online (WM never approach me in person unless they’re drunk or very old and bold) so I have only ever had experiences with OLD. Anyways he has a great career, he’s handsome, so sweet and loves to read. On our first date we went out for drinks at a local speakeasy then got a small bite to eat after and then went dancing for hours.
I really like him and we’ve been texting everyday since we met with one phone call a day. Something is really bothering me though, I had to ask “the” question because he comes from a very conservative town which I don’t judge but yeah I had to ask. He told me he has dated 3 black women before me so I would be the 4th. Another thing is he was previously married years ago but it wasn’t to a black woman it was to someone of his own race.
Am I overthinking this? I don’t want to ruin a good thing but I also don’t want to be part of someone’s checklist (I’ve had this happen before and it was not fun to see him date my friends and colleagues after me).

I was wondering if anyone has any experience or recommendations around magnetic lens caps?
I have a ring adaptor and protective filter on my x100vi so the default lens cap doesn't fit super well plus it's just a hassle to deal with. I saw online that there are some lens caps which are just magnetic pucks that attach and detach to a magnetic lens ring. Does anyone use this or have recommendations related to this. Happy to learn they are bad and to stay away, just seems like it could be a cool nice accessory.

This is a series about zombies, where the main characters are two brothers, a father and someone else (I don't remember) in a boat from the series, they were sailing on a yacht and saw on the island from the house that someone was flicking a light switch when they sailed to the island there were two brothers, one older the second smaller father and mother mother wanted to gg took the younger son with them but it didn't work out and in the end the father and mother died in another series one of the brothers went on his way and found three boys and went with them and his family went and found a good place to rest one of the main characters turned on the sign and everyone close to them the survivors came to them, and 2 guys with whom one of the men went. That's all I remember, I've been looking for this series for probably 3 weeks, I hope for help
