i recently received a $500 scholarship for music and i was hoping to use it to buy a mic that would get me through auditions for summer camps, honor bands, college, etc. i play both bari and soprano evenly and i would prefer a mic that would do justice to both instruments (i know soprano is known for being very hard to mic..) i know this budget isn’t going to get me anything great but it’ll still be an upgrade from my phone mic 🫡 it would be a plus for it to be usb or easy to transfer to a video but i’m willing to try anything! my school has very good recording rooms so having a mic that will make up for a bad space isn’t my first priority thank you!

Hi everyone,
We have a very similar faucet as the PDF linked below. It’s a simple design and I don’t see any adjustment capabilities in the manual.
Basically, the water is only hot (left) or only cold (right). If it’s in “the middle”, it’s either cold or hot.
I read somewhere that I can adjust the hot/cold water valves that go into the faucet but I thought that only controls pressure..? I’ll need to try it out once I go home.
Any thoughts/ideas are appreciated.

My current equipment is: Front / Right - Martin Logan XT F100 Center - Martin Logan C100 Surrounds - Martin Logan B100 <- Still in return window Front / Rear Heights - Onkyo S9800 HTIB <— To be decommissioned Subwoofers - 2 x HSU TN1 15” I would like to keep the front / left / center / subs at a minimum. Trying to figure out best layout given the above and my open floor plan location. Current surround bookshelves on the floor stands are 110 degree positioned from center. If I keep these, they have passed WAF in their current location but moving them further back is not possible. They are still in their return window so I’m fine replacing them. Some options proposed to me: A. 5.2.1 - 2 surrounds in-ceiling; nothing on floor B. 7.2.1 - 2 surrounds in-ceiling; keep B100 bookshelves as side surrounds on floor C. 7.2.1 - Same as above; but side surrounds also in ceiling D. 5.2.4 - B100’s as floor surrounds; 4 atmos in-ceiling speakers E. 5.2.2 - Same as D; but only 2 Atmos F. 7.2.4 - Same as D; but add 2 rear surrounds in ceiling in far back to separate from Atmos G. 7.2.2 - Same as F; but only 2 Atmos Which layout would you pick given the above? I would love an Atmos experience if possible. Running cabling is not a factor in my decision (can be done). I (19f) have never experienced yeast infections until last month. I started seeing my partner (19m) in early December of 2024, and I noticed my first yeast infection on Christmas Day. I didn’t think much of it, thought it was only a matter of time till my first one. I treated it with monistat, 7 days, and it went away. Everything was back to normal until today.
I noticed the same itching sensation as last time, and I looked down there, and sure enough, I have another yeast infection. I think it’s kind of bizzare that I’ve never had one, and then I start dating this guy and I’ve already had two. We have unprotected sex, and I don’t know anything about his previous sexual history (I don’t think I could handle it if I did haha). I know I should probably ask, but I don’t know if that has anything to do with it anyway. I’m going to continue with the same treatment, but i want to know if anything similar has happened to anyone else? Is he to blame, and should I bring this up with him? I’ve also been on the pill for about three years, so I thought that could be the cause, but I think it’s weird that it would start now all of a sudden. Please help!!

Olá, pessoal, tudo bem?
Ultimamente, tenho percebido um padrão em mim: em alguns momentos do dia, principalmente no banho ou antes de dormir, sou tomado por uma motivação explosiva, aquela vontade de mudar tudo na minha vida. No dia seguinte, começo cheio de energia – saio para caminhar, compro cursos, traço metas. Sinto até que estou no controle e vou dormir cansado, mas satisfeito com o progresso.
Só que, como a motivação é passageira, no outro dia o despertador toca e tudo começa a desandar. Acabo enrolando, desligo o alarme, durmo mais uma hora, e já perco o timing para a caminhada. Com o tempo, os cursos que comprei ficam esquecidos, e a frequência nas metas cai.
Pensando sobre isso, cheguei à conclusão de que sempre senti a necessidade de mudança, mas também carrego comigo uma preguiça enorme, que me impede de sustentar esses hábitos por muito tempo.
Só eu que sinto essa vontade da mudança, mas tenho uma preguiça enorme? Ou seria um evento canônico que acontece na vida de todo mundo?

I bought a nexys a7 100t fpga and I wan't to make a simple cpu that can interface with the onboard ddr2. The instruction manual said that instead of AXI4 I can use this SRAM to DDR component. The datasheet says that that minimum time to write to memory is 260 ns. Does that mean my maximum bandwidth is (2 bytes)*(1x10^9 ns)/(260 ns) = 7.6 Megabytes per second?
Also how do I actually know when data at a certain address is valid. Do I have a counter that counts 10 nanoseconds at a time for the write period every time a store instruction is executed? Or am I supposed to probe the DDR signals on the other end and see if there is a signal indicating that the operation is complete?
