I’m a 22 year old guy and I’m scheduled for a transplant to lower my hairline after experiencing some recession around 18-20. I’ve been on finasteride for two years now, which has helped stabilize things and i’ve even seen slight regrowth around the temples.
However, I’ve been struggling with suboptimal free testosterone levels for my age, which has made it hard to gain muscle and maintain optimal energy levels. I’m seriously considering starting TRT to address this, especially since I want better results in the gym and an overall energy boost.
That said, I’m a bit concerned about how TRT might impact my hair. Has anyone here started TRT while on finasteride? Did you notice any receding or shedding after starting TRT, even with the finasteride in the mix?
I’d be interested in hearing any experiences, especially from those who’ve had a hair transplant and balanced both treatments. Thanks in advance

Hello - I am sensitive to smells and use only unscented cleaners. However, I must have lost my mind, because I decided to use a dishwasher cleaner (Finish Dishwasher hygienic cleaner) and I don't know how to get the smell out of my dishwasher now. I've washed it now 5 times empty, plus another 3-4 with dishes and it still smells very strongly of the cleaner. Some of my dishes smell like the cleaner too after washing. The bottle says it's some combination of citrus and eucalyptus.
Baking soda? Anything else you can think of to try to get the smell out? Maybe another dishwasher cleaner like Affresh?

The Lunar New Year break interrupted my application for a teaching role, GCSE/A-Level Computer Science with Dipont. I had an interview with two members of staff and straight after was given a package offering and asked for references. I have been advised they will be in touch to progress this after the New Year break as there are internal procedures to follow. I'm a little stumped and didn't get time to finish the email chain.
Is this likely a job offer, or is it likely I will need another interview?

- La relación con mi madre nunca fue buena y hasta la fecha.
- Soy un adulto autosuficiente, trabajo, aporto a la casa y me sé cocinar (y es lo que siempre prefiero hacer).
Mi mamá siempre fue muy violenta y ausente casi toda mi vida, a mi me criaron mis abuelos desde muy pequeño hasta que lamentablemente fallecieron. Mi abuela cocinaba exquisito, le ayudaba a cocinar y todo lo que se sobre cocina es gracias a ella. Después de esa perdida hace 6 años tuve que mudarme con mamá y su pareja porque todavía seguía siendo menor de edad.
Con todo respeto mi madre hace la comida apurada, sin ganas, deja todo crudo, nunca prueba nada de lo que prepara y como muy a duras penas porque no quiero ser grosero ni parecer un malcriado.
Tengo que cocinarme a escondidas porque se ofende si no como su comida y sucede lo mismo cuando quiero ayudarle en la cocina.
¿Soy mal hijo?

2025.01.24 21:10 noticyquacksy New Season Switch? Character Grind?
I'm somewhat new, but I had a character with amazing ancestral items and was paragon 60+. Do I have to grind another character to that much even if i skip the campaign? Should I skip the campaign? I feel like it could give way more levels if I don't, but it recommends me that I should (I've only finished VOH campaign and currently doing Original on another Eternal Character) skip and just do seasonal quests. I have rogue about lvl 25 and still doing grim favors for an NPC for Witchcraft powers. I honestly don't mind grinding at all but Eternal character are basically useless, no? Maybe I'm just not understanding this. Any help?

My interests would be some short hiking, won’t be doing any long ones as they will cut into time, I’m there for 4 days and would like to make the most of them. Other interests are waterfalls, beaches and just the general spots with great views and scenery.
I know seogwipo is suggested a lot. I was wondering if this would be ideal for my interests.

Basically, as the caption says, I’m looking for a substitute for the sweet glutenous rice flour used in the kimchi spice mixture. I am mostly looking to make geotjeori, cucumber kimchi, radish kimchi, and spring onion kimchi. I live in Bangladesh where I can’t find sweet glutenous rice flour and I saw online that using regular rice flour isn’t the same and could even ruin the kimchi. I was wondering if there’s a substitute for the sweet rice flour, I’ve seen some people use mashed potatoes but I wanted to make sure that it actually works. Also is it possible to do it without the rice flour mixture? how should I go about it then? Please let me know, thanks!

2025.01.24 21:10 Visible-Friend4951 My insanely horrible wisdom tooth removal experience, last week
Sharing this not to instill fear on anybody, but just to share it somewhere and see if anyone else had a similar experience. So, i had my wisdom teeth removed on tuesday the 14th. procedure went smoothly, my dad took me home, and i passed out on the couch immediately after. that entire day went pretty much like any first day would be. i was able to take pain meds by the time i woke up from my post-anesthesia slumber so i was in minimal pain, also due to the fact i was still completely numb from the tip of my nose to my chin. (kinda shocked i was able to take pills honestly). by the next day, i still didn’t have any feeling in my lips or chin but the numbness had worn off on the inside of my mouth so i had more pain. it took a really long time for the numbing to wear off on my bottom lip and it wasn’t until late that night when i was able to feel it again. still in moderate pain, have no swelling or bruising, things were going easy peasy! fast forward to day three, i started having mild pain in my temples. i woke up at 7pm from a nap and the pain had become very intense accompanied by severe throbbing in my jaw that caused my jaw to shake/jitter. the pain meds weren’t working and i laid on the couch writhing in pain, just absolutely rolling around because it felt like my whole body was aching and i couldn’t relieve it. out of nowhere, mid-fit of pain, i got an intense wave of nausea and immediately began throwing up in the bathroom. mind you, this is day 3 post-op… vomiting + freshly removed wisdom teeth = NOT. FUN. AT. ALL. by 12am i was finally able to stop throwing up and my dad was freaking out because neither of us knew what the hell was going on. this is when i started getting crazy hot flashes and sweating profusely in absolute agony from the pain in my mouth and head. at this time, i wasnt able to check my temperature because we only have an oral thermometer and i physically couldn’t open my mouth for it. i tried my best to sleep it off and at 4am i jumped off the couch to throw up, yet again. we were finally able to check my temperature and to both my dad and i’s shock, i was at 102. i wasn’t able to keep anything down so i was forced to have zero pain meds in my system. it’s the 4th day now at this point and (still puking uncontrollably) my dad and i are able to make an emergency visit to my oral surgeon at 6am out of concern this is a dry socket situation. i was able to compose myself for as long as the surgeon needed to and upon examining my mouth, i had NO DRY SOCKET (shocking, i know). the oral surgeon assured us that the fever and my symptoms are common post-op due to the body’s healing process… he was able to prescribe me a zofran prescription asap and we clutched it at the pharmacy RIGHT AWAY. i had nothing in my system and was only puking stomach acid and mucus for hours, it was genuinely the most miserable i have ever felt in my entire life. i thought i was dying😭. i took the zofran and was able to digest it and i swear it felt like it saved my life. my mouth was in so much pain but i didn’t even care because i wasn’t throwing up anymore. my fever had subsided that morning and i returned back to a normal temperature with no nausea by the end of that night. (dear zofran, i love you). i’m day 14 post-op now and was able to chew food by day 6 and had zero nausea after the 4th day. i’m in no pain now, i SOMEHOW did not develop a dry socket, and to this day i have not a single clue why i got so sick so suddenly. it could’ve been the anesthetic metabolizing late in my body, it could’ve been a nerve in my mouth that triggered a migraine causing vomiting, it could’ve been my body’s reaction to the pain, or all of it. no idea. all i know is i feel like a survivor and i absolutely will never in my life wish that kind of agony on anybody else (well, i have a few politicians in mind..). anyways, thanks for reading if u did👍 lmk if this happened to anyone else lmfao.
