 | I bought an 85 buick riviera yesterday and drove it all through town and drive through and everything with no problem but today it started stalling at idle .so I was wondering what your thoughts on an issue the buick is having so it was running and driving great yesterday when I bought it but now it's like stalling at idle , woch is odd because all day I've idled it at different times for little things while checking the fuses and air filter because the heater and ac aren't blowing but now when I went to drive it earlier to fred myer it was having a hard time idling and staying running it was dying and it would start right up it's a brand new battery and went to auto zone and also tested the alternator and that's running good too. I have bipolar type 1 rapid cycling and have for a very long time. Along with a few other added disorders, GAD, PTSD, and a panic disorder. I’m on Venlafaxine 150mg, Topiramate 300mg, Clonazepam 0.5mg tablet up to 4 times a day (usually only take 1 per day, 2 if I know I’m heading into a stressful situation that may cause me anxiety, or 3 if I’ve had an unexpected stressor that made me very upset. So far I haven’t had to take 4. I think I’d only take 4 if I was in serious crisis.) I currently also take Divalproex 250mg but my psychiatrist wants to switch me to Lamotrigine 25mg every two days. I’m honestly really worried about the side effects of the Lamotrigine and have never done well with atypical mood stabilizers (they always make me feel like a zombie and I’m in college and I can’t afford to fail, but I’m willing to hear about certain ones as long as they don’t make me drowsy.) I feel like something is missing in my medicine. I feel easily agitated, upset, and overwhelmed. However, my Divalproex was the only medication recently upped and I gained like 30lbs. Has anyone been on same or similar medications and have they been given something other than Lamotrigine or Divalproex?

My (29F) sister “Claire” (34F) is pregnant with her first child, and I’m genuinely happy for her. She’s had a rough couple of years, so it’s nice to see her so excited about something. That said, she’s taken the excitement to a weird level: she’s decided to name her baby something... unique, and I think it’s borderline cruel.
The name she’s chosen for her future daughter? "M’leigha Seraphynne.” Yes, spelled exactly like that. Claire insists it’s pronounced “Mah-lay-uh Seraphine,” but she’s adamant about keeping the “creative” spelling because “normal names are boring, and my daughter deserves to stand out.”
When she told me, I was caught off guard and just blurted out, “Are you serious?” She looked hurt and asked why I didn’t like it, so I (probably too bluntly) said, “Because it sounds like a Wi-Fi password.” Claire immediately got defensive, saying I was being judgmental and unsupportive, and that “no one else” had a problem with it. (Side note: I later found out our dad laughed out loud when he heard it but tried to cover it up.)
I tried to tread carefully, but I told her I thought the spelling was going to make her daughter’s life harder than it needed to be. Teachers, doctors, employers everyone will constantly be mispronouncing it or spelling it wrong. Claire shot back that it’s her child, and I don’t get a say, and I need to “get with the times” because kids today have unique names and “no one cares anymore.”
Here’s where things got worse. At a family dinner, Claire brought up the name again, and I made the mistake of saying, “You know, you’re naming a person, not a fairy in a fantasy novel.” She stormed out, and now she’s refusing to speak to me unless I apologize for “mocking her creativity.” My dad is staying out of it, but my stepmom thinks I was wrong to criticize the name and should just let Claire do what she wants.
I love my sister, but I can’t shake the feeling that she’s prioritizing her ego over her baby’s future. Am I the asshole for being honest, or should I have kept my opinion to myself?
(Technically this isn’t “in the wild” but it’s from AITA so idk what else to flair it as)

I'm experiencing charging issues. when I use the slow charger that came with my 2024 polestar 2, it charges extremely slowly. It took 4.5 hours to go from 69% to 75% and then another 11 hours to go from 75% to 90%. and when I use my 220V charging station more often then not I get an error message and have to turn off the power to the charger to get it unhooked and try again. Not every time but more often than not. Any thoughts?

So hear me out.AI mania is going to create a massive counter-market.
Right now, big money is chasing AI hype, but with every new advancement, unease and paranoia are growing among many consumers.The more convincing generative AI becomes. The more normalized things like AI surveilance or customer service chat bots that conveniently understand everything but refund and subscription cancellation. The larger this demographic will become.
This is happening alongside a growing hunger for an internet that doesn’t rely on attention economics. You can already see the signs: BlueSky adoption. Y2K nostalgia is trending, and the indie web revival while kind of directionless are signs of something unrealized.
I think these demographics will continue to grow, and eventually, they’ll be big enough to justify a massive anti-AI market. Picture human- and community-centered web spaces and apps with business models similar to Discord’s—business models that don’t reward low-effort engagement like impressions or views. In this environment, AI spam would be useless for making money on its own.
AI circumvention and disruption could become common topics of conversation outside the usual tech-enthusiast circles, especially as AI becomes more politicized. Of course, there will still be people lining up to hand Elon and Sam their medical records, but plenty of people do care where the stuff they consume comes from. There are countless consumer movements throughout history to prove this to be true.
My hope is that this happens sooner. and not later after, publicly Traded companies and government institutions start to feel the negative effects of AI abuse by the general public. And instead of reasonable measured solutions we get . Extreme facsist solutions that further erode access to information and privacy online.

Maybe im dumb and blind but I can't seem to find everclear and I wouldn't be surprised if in glorious legislature moments its just not legal here. Gas OBVIOUSLY isn't cheap so I'm not driving to another state just to get wasted, I figure I'll just get the best I can locally and deal with it.

Hi!
I recently bought a new duralast platinum battery in June of 2023. Recently, my car is very slow to start. I actually have like a cheap battery tester from Amazon and when I place it on it, it says to charge it.
If I went to AutoZone, would they replace it? Or just charge it?
