I acquired this fridge with knowledge of the issue with a suggestion of utilizing the method in the following video to kickstart it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2MBaAf1iSs), however, this model doesn't seem to be anything close to what is in that video. This unit doesn't have a removable back panel, only a removable screen with access to the compressor. I don't see any way to get to an electrical panel inside the unit. The display on the front, when plugged in, just reads the temp it is set to (41 - the lowest if will go). The door seems to close and seal fine, the door button when depressed turns the light off, etc. No discernable error code or message. No big loss if I can't fix it, I just wonder if anyone has any suggestions.

My ex and I broke up in June 2023. We tried to rekindle things from August to October, but that ended in flames and hurt even more than the initial breakup. Since then, we’ve barely spoken—just the occasional dry “happy birthday,” a long phone call once, and some Snapchat responses from him that always ended with me being left on open.
Now, he’s said he misses me, and I entertained this message after giving him the cold shoulder for a year. I decided to entertain it because of how far I’ve come and built my emotional maturity. We’re making plans to meet up but I’m torn—should I see him again, or is this a terrible idea? Part of me wants to believe that seeing him could bring closure or clarity, but the other part of me wonders if I’m opening the door to more hurt.
Since the breakup, I’ve made incredible progress in my life. I advanced my career, became a gym regular, traveled the world, dated, and even had a crush. Most importantly, I learned to enjoy being alone and spending time with my friends. I didn’t know how to do that when we were together, and that was part of why things fell apart—I was looking to him to fill my cup, when I should’ve been filling it myself.
When I reflect on our relationship dynamics, I see a lot of factors that contributed to our downfall. Our work schedules didn’t align, which made spending quality time together challenging, especially since we lived 40 minutes apart. The same arguments played out over and over: I’d be upset about something—big or small—and he’d feel attacked and shut down, which would leave me even more upset. Eventually, I’d forget what I was upset about and instead be mad at him for avoiding me.
In the six months we were official, I wish he had made me feel more special. He isn’t a gift giver, and he rarely left his comfort zone for me, which hurt because I wanted to feel like a priority. At the same time, I could tell he loved me deeply—it was in the way he looked at me, and we talked about forever together. But his avoidant nature made it hard to feel secure, and I think we were both still carrying baggage from our exes that we shouldn’t have brought into a new relationship.
Despite all of that, I still love him. Being with him felt easy and effortless—I didn’t have to try to connect with him; it just happened. He loved me for who I was and always seemed to know what I was thinking before I said it. We had the same sense of humor, great sex, and I believe he’s a genuinely good man. His avoidance hurt me, but he never did anything to intentionally harm me.
I want to see him because I miss him. He wasn’t just my boyfriend; he was my best friend, my person. The last time I saw him, he kissed me goodbye and said we’d text to make plans, but I didn’t know that would be the last time before we broke up.
But I don’t know if I want to get back together with him—at least not right now. What I do know is that I want him to meet the new me. I’m someone who loves and respects herself more than any man ever could. Maybe this is a bad idea, but I feel like I need to see him one last time to find out.

I do see postings of the game becoming too much of the same and being burnt out after time. As I am exploring the game by myself, I am wondering if you had any tips or ideas of how to not get to this point too quickly, if that makes sense. So far, I am Level 18, haven't had a battle yet and try to go to new airports and collect all the things to collect.

Before you roll your eyes, this post is not primarily about how I have a few Bs on my midyear report and asking if that would kill my application. I have 3 Bs on my midyear report. However, one of them resulted from an assignment error from my teacher. She did not fix the mistake until after grades were closed, so she had to call our IT department. They're always swamped with these types of requests so they were pretty rude. Here's the problem: she forgot to put in the bonus points that bring my grade from a B to an A, and refuses to do so until the grade book "naturally" opens up again (since she already annoyed them about the assignment). I'm not sure when the grade book opens up again, but it's probably in one to two weeks. She refuses to give me the points UNLESS I wait, and I think convincing her otherwise is out of the question. Here are my options now:
A) Delay requesting my report and hope it gets updated within the next week or two. Submit them to the college past the technical deadline. This risks missing the deadline and not being considered at all, although I'm willing to email admissions and see if they understand my situation.
B) Submit the current midyear report and send a midyear report correction after it is made. This means I could be evaluated before the change is made, and it could have an impact on my decision.
I've already talked with my counselor, and he says neither he nor the district can do anything about this teacher's refusal to connect with IT. I understand that, but I'm stressed out about this breaking my application. I have 3 Bs (they were all 89s, so I hate this situation), and the transcript is unofficial because we do grades by year. I'm not sure what option to take, and if all this stress is even worth it. Thanks in advance.

HI! Years ago when I totally redid my kitchen back in 2011, I found a website that helped me figure out what I'd see if the whole room was painted. A little chip on a piece of paper was hard for me to vision.
I am now again doing reno's - and it's wallpaper that I'm after. Something soft/vertically striped in a muted grey/beige/champagne, etc colours. It's going on my front hallway, and down the hallway to the bedrooms/bathroom. It's going to cover painted panelling. YUP! But I did that years ago (wallpaper over panelling) when we updated the kitchen back in the early 90's.
Thing is I can't find a website to help me this time around. Do you guys have any that you can send me. I will try to send you pics of the hallway/entrance way I am talking about. Hope this works. TIA

I frequent Japanese restaurants at least once a month and have not gotten Teriyaki Chicken in a decade. It's always thin, limp, pale slabs smothered in sauce. But I remember there was one place I had it years ago that was a fresh juicy piece with crispy skin on top.
Does anyone know a place that serves it this way? I'm 80% sure it was in Markham and 20% sure it was Richmond Hill.
