I couldn't get any pics but I just noticed a weird fly in the millipede tank that I've never seen before. It flew out when I opened the lid. It was the size of a house fly but with a long slender body. Does anyone know what it could be?!

I recently came across a SVT Classic at a show I played at and it had a crunch like no other, like a fuzzy 8-bit bite. I put a fuzz pedal on and it was so perfect and I have been trying to find a cheaper amp that will fit the bill and have that bass distortion that is almost crunching and biting since the SVT Classic combo is sadly $3000 and I dont have that budget. Is there a amp out there about $300-700 price range that will fit that description the best and also be able to play loud gigs as well? I have a RB-115 and I am not sure if it will be able to play big shows.

So basically I (M17) was working on sparkplugs for my car for 10 hours, I had to go to AutoZone for straight bs like 8 times because I missed one tool or I grabbed the wrong one, So I went to the Auto Zone, it was closed.. I go to the other AutoZone. Keep in mind my car's gas was on E, so the right turn I had to make the car was not letting me pass so naturally I speed up, then he does... So I was like fuck it, then me and him were going at it for like 5 seconds. Cop taking a U-turn pulls me over and says, "why were you speeding? (24 over)", I explain the situation and then he asks for proof of insurance, I thought I left my phone at home so while I was looking in the car I told him I left it at home (later realized my friend was sitting on it), he then asks why my seatbelt was off and I explained to him I was looking for my phone and proof and he said, "I DONT CARE THE CAR IS ON PUT YOUR SEATBELT ON"then he says,"| know the other car was going faster than you but I decided to pull you over.." he takes my license and gives me back THREE tickets, racing, no proof of insurance, and speeding. i was livid when I saw the racing because that was straight pettiness the other driver was doing, l asked to see the radar and he said it was a moving radar and I have to subpoena the body came video, I asked him how, he said "look it up". i can pay the 700$ ticket but I don't want my parents insurance to go up, and since this is my first driving ticket I was hoping for it to be dropped by the lawyer l'm going to hire. Basically my dilemma is that if I drop the ticket and go to court (will be 18 by the time the court date comes), will my parents insurance go up and will they never find out? Please don't put comments such as," up to your actions, lying to your parents is wrony. they WILL find out, I remember 27 years ago in the same boat as you"-please just answer my question

2025.01.26 06:28 steadyeddy82 Can I get a more stable shower water temperature if I run a tap?

I have a shared house and sometimes when I am in the shower, my water temperature dips if someone is running hot water in the kitchen. I’d like to ask here if I run the bathroom sinks hot water while I’m showering, will that help limit the amount of temperature drop I experience showering if the kitchen faucet is turned on while I’m in there? My theory is if I am hogging more of the hot water output capacity of the tank when the kitchen faucet starts running, my shower water will stay closer to what I’ve adjusted to by limiting the kitchen sinks capacity to draw hot water but I’m unsure.

One only puts 1 start and writes in the review "The service is trash in my opinion, but I'm not going to disclose any details to avoid a defamation lawsuit"

Is there legal clarity on what the results are from these cases?
