HUD Colleagues,
“Heads of all departments and agencies in the executive branch of Government shall, as soon as practicable, take all necessary steps to terminate remote work arrangements and require employees to return to work in-person at their respective duty stations on a full-time basis, provided that the department and agency heads shall make exemptions they deem necessary.”
In accordance with this directive, all employees will be expected to begin reporting to a HUD office full-time unless approved for an exemption. This modification is being made to comply with the in-office work requirements ordered by the President to increase the efficiency and accountability of the federal workforce because virtually unrestricted telework has led to poorer government services and made it more difficult to supervise and train government workers, as stated in the Government-wide guidance issued by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. This requirement will be implemented in a phased approach.
Beginning the week of February 10: All non-bargaining unit employees who are not on a remote work agreement must report to their HUD office duty station full-time starting on their first scheduled workday.
Beginning the week of February 24: All bargaining unit employees who are not on a remote work agreement must report to their HUD office duty station full-time starting on their first scheduled workday in accordance with the Return to In-Office Work Presidential Memorandum.
Employees may be excused from this requirement if they have an approved reasonable accommodation based on a disability or a qualifying medical condition. Additionally, mobile workers and employees on approved Domestic Employees Teleworking Overseas (DETO) agreements are exempt from this requirement.
Over the next few days, guidance will be provided for employees on remote work agreements.
You will receive additional information on administrative requirements from the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer shortly.

How do you stay motivated and proactive and not fall into procrastination? I know God has called me to start a Non-Profit, he’s given me what I believe to be confirmation on a few occasions and sometimes I feel so on fire and ready and I do productive things to get rolling then it’s like it “wears off” so I’m back to delaying and not being so productive with it like I could be. Or having my attention be focused on things that aren’t as important. Not just about the Non-profit but other things too. I’m tired of being idle. Sometimes I know you have to just “get up and do” even when you don’t feel like it and sometimes I do. But it’s not as often and I want to be productive more of the time. So how do you get/stay motivated to do things in your daily life or just things that you know God is calling you to do?

I am looking for someone hopefully with experience within the car insurance to advise whether what my insurance are saying is legit or whether I am being fobbed off.
Long story short.
I was involved in a hit and run collision where I was waiting to turn left onto a dual carriage way and the car behind me hit me from behind and then reversed back and fled the scene. I captured the description of driver, make, model and the registration before he fled the scene.
I then immediately reported it to my insurer and the Police. Over the following days, I obtained CCTV showing the collision to verify my version of events.
Since the collision I had a stiff/sore neck & headache which my insurance deem to be whiplash so have arranged for me to have physio.
I have sent a quote to my insurer for the repair but my insurance are telling me that the other party has no obligation to respond to accept liability as a physical invoice has not been generated yet.
Once a physical invoice is "generated" they are then more likely to respond but apparently there is no set time frame or when they have to respond and I am being told that they can literally take a year to respond if they wanted as there is nothing law compelling them to.
Secondly, my insurance are also saying this will effect my renewal quote despite it being a non fault collision but is captured on CCTV clear as day.
My two main questions are:
- Surely the insurance company is regulated and their are statutory time limits to respond to claims?
- Can my insurance penalise me for a non fault claim?
