 | Hey everyone, I posted today about finally receiving 90% and it turns out I have a few other claims being deferred, my question now is after reviewing my decision letter. All of the dates connected to the claims are the date that I got out of the Navy. (June 30th, 2023) and and in my decision letter, it says my “original reward” is the day I got out of the Navy, not the day that I submitted the claim (I submitted the claim June 14th 2024, almost a year after I got out of the navy). Is this normal? Am I going to be back paid dated from when I got out of the Navy (June 30th 2023) or the day I submitted the claim (June 14th 2024)? 2025.01.24 23:50 Lostlawyer22 AITAH if I don’t go to my cousin’s baby shower (I’m the baby’s God mom)
My cousin’s baby shower is next month and I am soooo happy that she asked me to be the God mom. I’ve already started buying gifts. The thing is, I live in Atlanta and the baby shower will be in LA. I moved to Atlanta but my whole family is in LA. I had every intention on going but the flights are over $500. On top of that she keeps telling me how much everything costs for the baby shower and I’m getting the idea that she wants me to offer to pay for some stuff. What are God mommy duties? Am I wrong if I don’t go? $500 is slightly out of my budget but I suppose I could make it happen, but it would be tight. Thoughts?

I just wanted to share my happiness. I am so in love. We haven't met yet, but get one step closer every day. We met on Reddit last year, but it feels like we've known each other our whole lives. We have a little bit of an age gap. I'm 37f and he is 26m. We talk about everything. I've never trusted someone so much. I have chatted with a lot of people online, but I have never felt this strongly about anyone. I'm in GA, US and he is in the UK. Some people think I'm crazy because when I go to visit him, I plan on staying up to 6 months. I have nothing keeping me here, except my dog and cat. He has a job and plans to take a class, so it makes more sense for me to visit. We don't even use boyfriend/girlfriend, because we are planning to get married. I asked him where he sees us in 3 years, both where he wants us to be and where he expects us to be. He said married and living together to both questions. I just wanted to share my happiness. Feel free to share your happy stories.

2025.01.24 23:50 Equivalent-Abroad112 I desperately want to move out and don’t know what to do
I am 25 years old and still live at home with my parents. I’m in college but I commute and this is my first year, and I don’t have a full time job at the moment because school takes up all of my time. I’m very grateful that I’m able to live at home, but it makes my life miserable. The only thing I want in life is to have my own home, and it’s gotten to a point where I’m desperate to get out. Both of my parents make the house a very depressing/chaotic environment, and I’ve tried countless times to help make change but it never works. Before I could push aside all the negative feelings I had about living at home but now they consume me and it’s taking a toll on my quality of life. I really want to move to a different state, and was planning on saving for a downpayment for a home there, but it’s tough because I’m at school most of the time and don’t have the time to get a job. I thought about switching to online school or transfer to a school in the area I want to be in, but I still need a job to be able to afford an apartment. I have enough saved for a few months rent, but i wanted to save it for a home/condo and not “waste” it on renting an apartment. I was looking at getting a real estate license to try and get some extra money, but I know I cannot rely on that. I don’t know what other jobs I could look for that would help me, I’m at a total loss and am desperate to be on my own. Should I give up on trying to save for a home? Should I put school on the back burner and try to get into a trade job? I’m sorry for the rant, I just need to get it out

I am in a terrible spot right now. On vacation in Nassau at Bahamar, and
I left my bag of medicine at home like a moron. In it was my pain medicine that I need to function, because right now I am flailing like a fish out of water. I am in severe withdrawal.
I’m not looking for drugs. I’m just asking is there a procedure to get what I need. Because otherwise I’m going to have a bad bad weekend.
Would a doctor prescribe me a few days worth until Monday?
Is codeine or tramadol over the counter or available to buy in pharmacies? Anything would help.

2025.01.24 23:50 TheMap228 Honeywell Thermostat Replacement and Zone Issues
Hi there. I recently went to replace the batteries on my Honeywell VisionPro thermostat (TH8110R1008) and I dropped it and when I turned it back on it said the temperature sensor was erroring and I need a new thermostat. I bought a new one, but I’m having trouble setting it up with the zones in my home.
The thermostat I’m replacing controls the main floor and the upstairs and there is a second thermostat in the basement that controls only the basement.
My furnace has an Equipment Interface Module (THM5421R) attached to it.
Whenever I try to connect the new thermostat it kicks the basement thermostat into the setup screen and the new thermostat only controls the basement. To the best of my knowledge these are the only devices connected.
Any advice on how to get both thermostats connected to the EIM and controlling the correct zones?
Neither of the thermostats are connected to wires in the walls.
