2025.01.24 23:44 Ok-Refrigerator7010 Is it normal for food to differ in the quality not just by cruise line but by individual cruise ship?
We just got off of a seven night cruise with Royal Caribbean to the Mexican Riviera. My wife and I ate at the main dining room every night and had the different meals with their themed nights. There was French, Mexican, Italian, Caribbean, and two Royal nights (different specialities across different cuisines. My wife and I did not try any of the specialty dining offerings or restaurants (not including the Johnny Rockets, which is very much inferior to a regular Johnny Rocket’s restaurant).
What we noticed was that the main dining room had food that either didn’t taste very good or was too experimental with its fusion of flavors. Upon talking with an older couple who was much more experienced with RCL, they supposedly have been on 30+ cruises over 20+ years with RCL, and never have they had to complain about the quality of food until they jumped on the Navigator of the Seas, our cruise. Their last cruise was on the Icon of the Seas (they said it had far superior food), and they said that out of their entire fleet, RCL’s food on the Navigator was the worst (their words).
I don’t want to completely bash RCL and their kitchen staff because the customer service on RCL has to be the best in my cruising experience. I have been on Carnival, Norwegian, and now for the second time Royal Caribbean.
My last RCL experience was 20+ years ago as a kid.

a new update just released for cube farm (ios) and cube farm (android)! this update primarily improves the progression grind with bosses. previously there was a large gap in goo earning for players between early game and reaching the point where they could collect elemental goosters.
the spawn rates of all bosses have been increased and smoothed out across all gooster levels above level 20. additionally, idols can be unlocked earlier by defeating the 4 elemental goosters, and an extra idol slot was added at level 25. this significantly reduces the amount of grinding required to reach the next big milestones of progression with idols and regrowth that multiply rewards and accelerate progression.
there's a handful of other improvements to discover - the highly requested feature of being able to disable the repeated boss reward alerts is finally in-game! cube farm can now be played with a very minimal number of flow-disrupting alerts!

I've had hypothyroidism for like 10 years and it's been well managed on levothyroxine. I've been on 75mcg for a while now. Over the past week I've been abnormally fatigued and headaches. I'm usually high energy. I went and got blood work done my doc ordered a while ago and now my TSH is low and t4 is high so looks like hyperthyroidism. Has that happened to anyone? It seems weird for hyper to make me so damn tired and mainly that's it. I had a bit of a runny nose this week but no COVID and nothing that should cause this - ive had way worse. Anyone have thoughts or experiences?

2025.01.24 23:44 NoMoreGoodUsernames_ New to VR, having some issues with steam games
I can connect my Quest 3 to steam via steam link. I can play steam games for the most part. The issue I've had is the experience has been God awful. It's super pixilated and almost blurry. Constant stuttering and jittering around. It feels like I'm playing on a potato.
I've tried different games, I'm mostly into aviation for VR. I've tried VTOL VR, DCS, war thunder... the latter two I couldn't even get to work, and VTOL was a pretty bad experience. I also tried other non aviation games like job simulator and into the radius, which were a little better, I guess? into the radius made me motion sick as hell, but I expect that getting I to VR.
Am I doing something wrong? I've heard maybe virtual desktop or airlink would be better, but I don't know. Any help would be appreciated.

I recently tried out a new Dermatologist near cherry creek. The office, Epiphany Dermatology is right off of Colorado Blvd across from the Super Target. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Shah and his staff. I am fairly confident he is apart of our community. The office was clean and wait was short! They have a few different doctors but I choose Dr. Shah because he has additional training in skin cancer. Go check him out!

I only have a concern I’m not here to complain about not getting my desires or anything but I just wanted to ask. I’m currently manifesting to get paid to exist and to be able to quit my job bc I’m getting paid opportunities elsewhere. I’ve been doing a pretty good job at living in the end but when I go to work I feel like it goes down the drain when I acknowledge I’m at my job. Like at the drive through I’m like “hi welcome to” or I’m so focused on getting the orders done for the costumers that I don’t think to revise until I’m done with my shift which could take 4-6 hours. So that’s 4-6 hours I take basically undoing everything I’m affirming for and I’m just worried it’s going to delay my desires…

I deleted Facebook in November, TikTok a couple of weeks ago, and tonight (after enough friends have been informed) I’ll be deleting Instagram.
Not you Reddit. Never you, I love you.
But with only that and Neopets left I wondered… could we convince others that Neopets is the next “it” platform? Even if only to stay in touch, I think it provides better value than some others. The inbox limit would need to be removed, or maybe a chat feature added instead.
I mean, it was literally my first experience with social media. I’ve even kept a few of the friends I met there when I was a kid. Has the nostalgia binge finally rotted my brain, have I lost the plot (pun intended)?
