2025.01.25 00:18 xkisses Globular Cluster is an excellent design, but just doesn’t work for me. Anything else out there that I can try for comfort?
Idk if it’s my head shape, or my hair, or what. I’ve tried all combinations of the pads and positions with the system, and can’t get a reliable sweet spot to stay in place without cranking down the tension knob, and it hurts after an hour or so.
I have long hair, and I guess the back of my head is flatter than most people’s - so I have a couple problems I can’t seem to resolve: the back of the headset keeps sliding up/the front of the unit rests on my nose. It’s like the front is just too heavy and I don’t have enough of a back of a head to keep the back from sliding up.
I have also added about 180g of weight to the back of the headset which seemed to help the balance somewhat, but it’s still uncomfortable.
I’d like to try a ponytail above the back of the headset, but can’t do that with the cushioned over-the-head strap (which I like as it helps relieve the weight on the front)
Yes, it’s positioned properly with the back of the unit fairly far down on the back of my head. But then with the added pad on the back, I can’t really look up because the height of the pad makes it dig into my neck and pushes the headset forward again.
Does anyone else struggle with getting a comfortable and reliable fit with their PSVR? I’m sad about the GC because it’s a great design, and everyone raves about it, but I just can’t get it to work for me.

 | Hey guys! Been a long time sports card collector, but Indigo League’s recent stint on Netflix got me back into Pokémon. Just ripped a booster bundle of 151 and pulled these 2. I know kinda what they are, but would you suggest grading, provided condition warrants it, or just one-touching them (they’re both in one-touches now)? If these were basketball cards I’d be better off but I’m still not 100% on what collectors see as grade worthy or what just looks fancy but is only that. Fancy looking. 2025.01.25 00:18 Kiaider How do land Pokémon battle when Surfing?
I’ve tried looking for previous posts about this but can only seem to find posts asking the opposite so I thought I’d ask.
So let’s say the trainer is Surfing on a water route and run into a Pokémon or trainer who wants to battle? How would a land Pokémon battle? Or for that matter, how would the Pokémon the trainer is using to Surf with battle with a person on their back?
If it’s a small enough Pokémon, like a Ratatta, it might be able to sit on the trainer’s head to attack with ranged moves but that puts the trainer in danger and doesn’t help for larger Pokémon, like a Venusaur as an example.
Saying only swimming Pokémon would be able to battle in water is also a problem because usually trainers are only going to have one so would the trainer have to get off their Pokémon to have it battle? Swimming in the ocean or even staying in one spot is really hard to do because the current is strong, plus the trainer would have to be calling out commands and such would probably be hard to mange unless they themselves had the strength for it (by being a strong swimmer themselves)
My only “solution” is that the Surfing Pokémon can manipulate the water to make a temporary solid platform out of water for land Pokémon and the trainer to stand on but is that too silly sounding?
Does anyone have any other ideas or is that what everyone else does? Having the land pokemon float above the water like how fish-like Pokémon float above ground suspends my disbelief too too high for me to want to consider they float too, hence the platform idea.
The only other way I could think of is that the trainer carries a floatable platform that they can whip out for every battle. Which could work because Capsule technically* exists in my Pokémon world so it could be easily carried when not in use but…. It sounds needlessly complicated. Like, I know a “water platform” made the Pokémon isn’t exactly the smartest solution but at least it’s not as visually stupid to write. I just can’t imagine it would be quick, easy, or all that convenient where a water platform made by the Pokémon sounds like it would be all three of those things 😅

More of a rant, but does anyone relate?
My co-dependent, alcoholic mother has used me as scapegoat for years now and I am tired of being blamed for the things she cannot and does not accomplish. I’m talking no effort put in whatsoever ever to achieve what she wants.
Some include:
1. “I can’t use my total gym in the garage because your bike is in the way!”
She’s been “trying” to get into shape for years now, purchased a $1k total gym to get into shape. My bike had now been on the side of the house for over 8 months now and not ONCE has she gone and exercised.
2. “I can’t move to Hawaii yet because I have to wait until you’re done with school!”
No, she can’t move to Hawaii for numerous reasons. First, she doesn’t want to sell her home in order to buy a home in Hawaii. She is and has always been low-income. Hawaii has a higher cost of living then where we live. Lastly, her boyfriend doesn’t want to move to Hawaii (she told me this) so then she went and attempted to manipulate my sister and I to move with her, but we both said no. She is too codependent to do anything alone.
She really believes moving to Hawaii is going to solve all her financial, relationship, and familiar problems, instead of staying where she’s at and working on them here.
Like there’s so much more shit that sure most of you don’t want to read. It’s like anything I make or attempt to make a positive change about my myself, my social life, my overall health, she gets so fucking bitter, and makes nothing but snide comments. I’ve chalked it to she is a very unhappy person who wants everyone to be unhappy as well She does and says things to my sister as well. Although she attempts to pose herself as this fun-loving beacon of light just because she listens and attends reggae concerts (plus all the alcohol she consumes). Sometimes I look at her and can’t believe this is my mother.
