2025.01.25 00:40 Vido_YT How to Have Two Videos Overlay Each Other?

Hi :D, this is my first time really diving deep and spending a good chunk of time on one of my editing projects. I am trying to have a video pop up while another video in the background is still playing (an example would be from this Ludwig video https://youtu.be/1SGUOyu-7TY?si=keyXtWIP8klQywxi&t=5 ).
For this I went and used an adjustment clip so I could have a smooth pan in and zoom. However, when I'm putting it next to my footage, it is panning and zooming every object in the timeline under it.
I tried just using key frames when it comes to the footage that is being overlayed, but now I have a stiff looking transition, since I can't edit anything related to splines without the adjustment clip.
I hoped that made sense, like I said, it's my first real time knowing any lingo from DaVinci as well as the fusion tab entirely. If anyone needs more info or more clarification I would be happy to let you know whatever you need, I just want to make a sick video I'm proud of.

Tengo un amigo el cual conozco hace más de 15 años, tengo 25 el año pasado por cuestiones de estudio se fue a estudiar a España. Dicha chica resultó ser de acá del país y familiar mío cosa que me dejó pensando por qué yo aunque si tengo familiares en España ninguna es mujer. Resulta que la chica es un primo Que prácticamente toda su vida ha vivido en España hijos de un tío por parte de mamá el cual la verdad yo no lo había visto más de cinco veces en toda mi vida al parecer él había hecho el cambio de género y pues la verdad nadie en la familia sabía aparte de sus padres para mí fue una sorpresa pues impresionante pero nada del otro mundo, para no hacerle el cuento tan largo yo le pregunté a a mi amigo pues qué se sentía estar saliendo con una persona trans a lo cual él me preguntó con una cara de asombro de que le estaba hablando a lo cual yo por imprudente le terminé contando, Tal parece que él no sabía ese detalle de mi prima que era con la que estaba saliendo y al enterarse término la relación con ella de una manera un poco dramática. Mi prima al enterarse que yo era el que le había dicho pues la verdad se molestó conmigo me acusó de homofóbico y prácticamente puso a tus padres y parte de mi familia en mi contra. En mi familia está dividida uno que dicen que no debe hablar de eso porque no era mi asunto y otros que dicen que ella debió decirle a mi amigo la verdad desde el principio mi amigo por otro lado está devastado con la noticia pero agradecido porque le haya dicho la verdad no sé si hice mal
