 | Hello everyone! I'm new to this subreddit and wanted to share my new Betta fish Krimson! We got him yesterday and he's a beautiful male Dragonscale! Honestly it was a tough choice between him & another betta, but ultimately we settled for this little guy! He lives in a cycled 40 gallon tank with a small group of Neon Tetras & some snails! He seems to really enjoy the tank, already started making some bubbles, which from what I read is a good sign! I will admit that this is my first betta, and while I have done research, I'm wondering if I shpuld get him a leaf hammock or betta log? Not sure what's better! Hello, I'm trying to help my friend whose husband recently passed away unexpectedly. I have limited Apple experience.
Her husband had an iphone 14 and she's wanting an easy way to sort through his photos from her computer.
His phone wasn't connected to iCloud and when I try to sync it to his iCloud I get an error "Photos and Videos Synced from Finder will be Removed" (1,158 photos and videos will be removed). Given the delicacy of the situation, I'm afraid to lose any of his photos permanently.
What is the easiest way that I can transfer the photos to her? She has a macbook pro (I believe 2024). Is there a way I can send them all to her iCloud without having to individually select each photo and transfer it?

I currently hold a 10 year L2 Visa, however, I plan to fulfil a uni requirement in China, requiring a X2 student bisa. I've heard that it's not possible to have two visas at the same time, so would my L2 Visa become invalid when I get my X2 student Visa? I also want to spend an additional 2 weeks or so after my program ends to visit family, but I am not sure that would be possible with just a student visa. What would be the work around? Would it be possible to even get a student visa?

 | It appears that I have grown tired of COD Mobile. When I first played for a year and a half, it was fun and stuff. But at that time, it got repetitive. I stopped playing after battle pass new order, which is years ago. Zoom forth a couple of years, and now I have it back installed, and everything felt new, with the mythic guns, tournaments, and everything else. I played it for half a year up until now and the same thing happened. Eventually, it got more of a side thing that I don't enjoy anymore since I don't see myself trying to make myself a better player, as it was something I wanted to play casually. As a result, I don't see myself just leaving this account like that. I would like to do something with it. I don't want to give it away for free since I'm sure no sane person would give away an account that has stuff that is no longer obtainable. But I also don't know what the worth is. So is there a way for me to sell this account? I'm not looking for crazy money since this is just a mobile game. It was fun wasting money, but now I have other responsibilities to get to. So short story I used Afterpay to buy a digital Xbox gift card and I redeemed it through the Xbox website on my computer currently not having my Xbox in my possession. But when I did the money is in my Microsoft account but when I go to buy game pass or in game items I don’t have any option to use that Microsoft money. Im a social worker and today my client said to me: “Oh my god. Thats a lot of work for 300$”
Basically she is required to do a SELF-PACED, NON-EXAM, ONLINE courses for a few hours a week in order to get cash aid from the govt. All she has to do is watching videos.
I still tried to be nice and encouraged her to just do at least an hour to stay in the program so she and her kids wont lose the benefits and she still complained.
It’s crazy how demanding these people are. They are given a FREE TOOL to improve themselves in order to get a better job. And all they see is MONEY. THEY are the one who applies for cash aid. THEY agreed with their Case Manager which activity they will be doing. NOBODY forced them to do it. Why dont they see that they hit rock bottom and just appreciate whatever chances they are given? I guess this is one of the reasons why they never got out of poverty

I’ves washed a couple times with warm water and soap to see if it would dissipate. I do think it’s lessened but I still see them. It’s worse in person. 14 y/o male, boy whatever you call it. for some time i have been feeling this and i just have to get this off my chest, i hate my body sm, its just, everytime i look into the mirror after or before shpwering or smth like that, i notice my torso, legs and just body in general, and ive started hating it even more, almost everyday i gain a new insecurity, and the fact that i have some kind of scoliosis makes it feel even worse, and its not even that i look bad, i feel femenine, i just cant take this anymore, some people say working out may make me gain muscle but it just doesnt work, ive tried but lost motivation.
i've noticed the fact that i started wearing baggy clothes not necessarily for the fact that i like them, its bc i feel actually ugly.
being average would actually solve a lot of problems related to my mental health and i just hate myself for being skinny/under average
