Hi everybody!
I am 46 years old and live in Argentina. In 1994, I was 16 in High School, had 1 year left of school, and we often skipped school and go to an old lady's house, which had a couple of arcade machines (I remember Captain Commando, Street Fighter, Pit Fighter and a few others) and ONE PINBALL.
That pinball was Indiana Jones, the Pinball Adventure.
Now, checking online, I see there were 12.700 units sold.
My question is: what are the ODDS???
I live in a fairly small city, in a 3rd world country, and the year after of this machine being released, there is one in excellent condition in an old lady's house who basically sold arcade plays to 15-17 years old teenagers.
Anyway, at the time (1994) I didn't thought much of it, but now, reading and finding information online, I have this "mistery" of how I got to play with one of the best pinball ever made.

2025.01.25 00:40 30phil1 What do you do when you can't access your therapist?
I've been doing pretty well lately but my therapist has been on strike for about 15 weeks and I'm starting to notice my mood getting significantly worse lately. (For context, here's a super good article about the strike.) I've been resisting going to a scab therapist because it feels like I'd be both betraying my values and that I'd only be speaking with someone who will leave once the strike ends.
With that said, on paper, I'm actually doing quite well. Here's what I have been doing:
- Hitting the rock climbing gym every 2 or 3 days for at least an hour. (If you speak "gumby-ese," I'm currently stuck at that V4-V5 plateau.)
- Running a weekly TTRPG night for a regular group on Discord.
- Speaking candidly with my SO about how I'm feeling.
- Eating regular meals
- Maintaining a healthy distance between myself and work whenever I'm at home
- Living in a very safe and well maintained area without having to worry as much about my finances as I used to.
- Advocating for myself by helping the NUHW strike through sharing my experience with reporters.
- Taking Lamictal for depression symptoms and estradiol for "lack-of-boobie" symptoms

Hi Iām completely out of the loop with 3ds my 3DS has mainly just been used as a DS in its entire lifetime because I had a Acekard 2i that could play DS/Dsi/3ds games. So I only had 7 retail 3DS games i played aside from DS filled AceKard.
3DS XL is on this firmware: 3.1.0-6E
Where do I go from here with the 3DS XL ? Would retail 3DS games like the Zelda game work on this firmware. Last I remember was that the updating 3DS firmware would ruin my Acekard.

Thank you to the whole Detroit Lions team for another incredible season.
It has been tough this last week. Iāve been walking around as a shell of myself. What a way to go out. The way last year ended and this regular season went down.. in my mind this was our year for the Super Bowl. It was OURS! we were all so caught up with Hutch coming back for the SB. Like we were already there. I didnt even consider the Redskins tbh.. I mean I liked Scarry Terry from fantasy football. I heard good things about Jayden Danielās. But truth be told, I was thinking eagles next week and I hope itās the chiefs for the SB, cos beating them would be the ultimate victory. So it was extra brutal when we lost. Honestly I was properly depressed for like 3-4 days. My wife was worried.
But.. having said all that. What a fucking season! 15-2! How much fun was each of those fucking games. Sweeping the entire division, blowing out multiple teams, jail breaking out of Houston. Going toe to toe with the Bills, but coming up just short. All that with a historically hurt defense. We won games with dudes who joined the team THAT week. It was insane. It wasnāt just insane.. the guys were having fun out there and we could feel that energy in our living room. Every time it was 4th and 2 and it was just automatic .. hand it to Monty or Gibbs and run it down their throat. All them TDs on 4th down.
Iāve been a Lions fan since about ā05. I donāt think Iāve ever been this excited for football Sunday in all those years.
I know there are a few teams still playing football. Whatever.. Iāve lost all interest in the playoffs. But I am ready to watch highlights of this past season and get ready for September. The next season. When we get almost our entire team back. Weāll miss BJ and AG, but almost everyone else is coming back and āWeāll play like we remember who the fuck we areā

I needed something to have on while making christmas gifts, SPN sounded like itād be good as i was already interested in starting it. itās been about a month of watching, and i just finished season 8. im audhd and have already learned i can be obsessed w a show (the anime haikyu) but to call it obsession is putting it way too light. this show has taken over my life and i canāt even be dramatic. the terms hyperfocus and hyperfixation canāt cover it completely. i genuinely struggle to do or think anything thatās not SPN. it sounds horrible, but i love it lol. SPN is an absolute masterpiece and i have zero regret starting it, nor regret the time i spent consuming media (instead of food) of the show. i promise i am okay, i just want to share my sudden obsession w you guys

2025.01.25 00:40 techhorder Help - Have a tp-link AP and ecobee thermostat behind 802.11ah bridge that are unable to connect to their respective servers, but other devices have internet access through the AP.
I have a wifi halow bridge on one vlan going to a community room a distance away. Behind that bridge I have a tplink AP and several other devices.
The tplink AP allows devices to connect and completes dhcp handshake and other devices on the network have internet. The issue I'm having is the AP as well as my ecobee thermostat do not connect to their respective controller servers.
I only see allowed traffic in my live logs for the subnet and I'm pulling out my hair trying to figure out what's missing in my rules that would allow whatever communication is missing between the ecobee and it's servers and the AP and the cloud controller servers.
I initially tried my local tp-link controller but it reacts the same way.
If I connect the AP directly to the port heading to the bridge it connects fine which makes me think it's something in the bridge that is dropping packets, but now that I've set up the ecobee and experiencing the same thing I'm questioning myself.
The port on the switch has the PVID set as the remote vlan 50. I also have the same port set as untagged for 50 and Tagged for the switchport heading back to my main network switch.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong, any direction or help would be much appreciated.
