 | I got diagnosed with scoliosis in December of 2023 followed by therapy sessions starting in January of 2024. Ever since the. ive been braced with daily therapy exercises becoming a part of my routine. Now in January of 2025, after a year of work my spine has greatly improved. Its been a challenging journey, especially when it comes to public appearance and physical activity limitations. But now, It feels as though im nearing the end of the tunnel. My therapist cleared me for the process of gradually reducing bracing hours until I can finally take it off. Soon, i may even be able to live normally. My heart goes out to everyone who suffers from scoliosis. I pray that everyone may have a happy end to their journey. - Purchase & Initial Issues • I bought a MacBook Pro (14-inch, M3 Pro/Max, Nov 2023) from Currys in April 2024. • Since purchasing, I’ve experienced multiple issues, including software crashes, random shutdowns, and performance instability despite it being a high-end model. • Over time, several repairs were carried out—both by Apple and Currys.
- Repairs & Warranty History
- Apple Repairs (Total: 4) • Apple carried out multiple software and hardware repairs, including a logic board replacement and top case/battery replacement under warranty. • On the last repair, Apple engineers and a senior manager advised me that, given the history of repairs, I had grounds to demand a replacement under my consumer rights.
- Currys Repair (1 Attempt Previously) • I initially brought the MacBook to Currys for an inspection, but they returned it without finding an issue and lied about not being able to access my MacBook because the password I had given to them is incorrect, and they reinstalled the software.
- Seeking a Replacement at Currys • After Apple’s latest repair, I went to Currys (the store where I originally purchased it) to request a replacement or full refund based on the device’s repair history. • The in-store staff acknowledged the repair history but said they could not authorize a replacement on the spot. • Instead, they sent the MacBook to their repair center for an internal inspection by their engineers to determine whether a replacement or further action is necessary.

I had my wisdom teeth removed April 2024. I first notice them in July 2023 & had symptoms from then to April I end up having wisdom teeth infection, I got antibiotics could the wisdom teeth of damage my sinus never or something. Has anyone ever had this issue?
Prior to having them removed I had the same issues I do now (ears get hot, mouth gets warm my neck hurts, I feel yucky almost like a fever, my sinuses bother me especially my eyes and throat, I get headaches) It happens daily to me I put a wisdom teeth ice mask on & switch them back in forth it sort of helps in moment but it keeps happening.
When I tell dentist/oral surgeon they say it is TMJ or I grind my teeth (I have woken up with warm ears and ear pain but I didn’t feel any grinding in sleep EVER) I believe I had nerve damage of some sort, they said not possible. I just wish they knew they blame it on my anxiety as well but it definitely is my mouth more than anything. I feel I waited too long to remove them cause I was scared to go to dentist cause I have health anxiety. Long story short I have the same pain as before I gotten them remove and the dentist dont even know why & never heard of it. Thank you to anyone who respond to this in advance!

My ex broke up with me just over 2 months ago, I moved into a "houseshare" but the landlord has struggled to fill the second room, so essentially I live here alone. I've been struggling a lot because one, I've never lived alone before (it's been nice but lonely during flares) and two, I have to do everything myself, which is fine, but during flares for example I struggle to take the bin out, and could really use having someone around to split chores with.
My landlord has been a bit of a nightmare and has already offered to release me from the contract, and she is intending to terminate my lease in 3/4 months time as she can't fill the other room. I looked at the rental market and can't afford to move into a one bed place, but found a 2 bedroom fairly local. The current tenant seems nice and we really hit it off. She also has dogs who occasionally stay with her and she's out of the area 1/2 a month (splits her time between here and where her husband lives). She's also a urology surgeon working locally in the area, so it would help to have a medical expertise at home as my injury causing chronic pain is in my pelvis. My ex was a doctor, and has unfortunately been using my health issues as a bit of a way of clinging on to contact with me since the break-up, or coming over to "help out". I was in the process of arranging carers to come once per week due to the struggles of living alone.
My current area has difficult access for parking, which sucks as a I have disability badge, so one of the pros of this place is the parking accessibility. The flat is warm, compared to my current place where the landlord refuses to let me put the heating on properly and the hot water frequently runs out. The constant battle with the cold here is making things more difficult as everything tenses up in the cold. It's ground floor so no struggle with stairs, although my current place has a lift.
My only concern is, and I guess this is due to my ex berating me whenever I was in pain, that I'm worried about the complexities of living with someone when I'm on daily pain medication, use medicannial cannabis daily for pain (I prefer this to opiates) and can be housebound for days. She'd obviously be out most the day due to her work, but I'm not the ideal roommate when it comes to wanting to socialize as I'm not always up for it. however, I am finding living alone very lonely, and struggling to push myself to get outside some days. I feel like potentially having another person around might make me more motivated to be social again, and tackle some insecurities I have with my condition and people accepting it due to my ex being unkind towards me when I was in pain.
Those living with roommates or have done and now live alone, how did you find either experience? What did you prefer? Ideally I can stay here another 3/4 months and focus heavily on management, or I can move in the next month and save having to find somewhere later on and have some company. Id like to hear your experiences!

im trying to build a game that i dont want to share to much intellectual property but lets say that the game consists of persay rooms and inside each room there are 100/200 people persay let’s hypothetically say that there are 1000 rooms and each one had 100 people in it and in each room theres stuff moving around live chat and characters moving around. my goal here it to build a downloadable application for this on ios/andriod. my question is, would i be able to build a game with this demand using node.js? im getting mixed answers. i have thought i could use unity for my front end and then use node.js for my server. is this a good approach or should u consider other options. i want real time no latency across the globe. another question is do i deploy this on one single server? how would you deploy such a large scale game? please share ideas.
