I'm looking for some feedback with my kinda cozy kinda humorous fantasy book.
Summary
Zopha Bethelsen was once the realm’s greatest necromancer and a trusted member of the king’s court. Was being the key word—she’s dead. A rather inconvenient detail, especially since she’s still very much alive.Feedback I'm Looking For: Consistency and interesting characters. I mostly want to know if the story is interesting. I made some previous content edits that I know was for the better but I fear I made it a little blander than I would have liked. I'm not looking to write the next Game of Thrones; I just want people to have fun.
After surviving a botched assassination attempt, Zopha discovers everyone the kingdom believes her to be deceased. Determined to uncover who orchestrated the attack, she faces two major obstacles: her memory is a fragmented mess, and her spellcasting is dangerously unreliable.
Her journey takes her across the land of Ain Genoin, where she encounters struggling trade villages, exiled dwarves, outcasts with forbidden magical implants, a perpetually ravenous zebracorn, and opportunistic cults that prey on travelers. Unfortunately for her, none of these groups take kindly to someone with obvious ties to the king, dead or alive.
With the help of a former mentor and a ragtag group of fellow outsiders, Zopha begins piecing together her shattered past. What she uncovers astounds her—dark secrets buried deep within the realm’s foundations.
As the king’s agents close in, Zopha faces an impossible choice: fade into obscurity and live in hiding, abandon her newfound allies, or take on an unstoppable enemy in a fight she’s certain to lose.
Themes: Fire-forged friendships, dealing with perfectionism, thinly veiled socioeconomic allegories, clumsy lore dumps
TWs: Mild violence; brief psychological (magical?) torture. PG-13 at worst.
I can swap, mostly fantasy, sci-fi, or mystery, with general themes, although it may take me a while to get back. I'm not super keen on romance but it's not a big deal.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 4.21 GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800
Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO ATX AM4
I'm looking at Ryzen 5 5600X or Ryzen 7 5800X. The 5800X3D is also on my radar but the price jump is pretty high.
I don't care about extremely high performance in gaming, a simple upgrade will do fine since my CPU is pretty old.
Are either of these two chips (Ryzen 5 5600X or Ryzen 7 5800X) a good pick?

2025.01.25 00:30 Ill_Consideration589 My last portrait of Springfield, just prior to the shutdown.
Prior to 2018, I never knew TSTO existed, seriously. And when I started playing it was frustrating at first. But got through some of the aches and pains, and started to love the game, the constant tapping. I for the next 7 years, I was nonstop in this game. Again wished that I knew of the game prior. I couldn’t put it down. Until at some point my phone continued to get warm/hotish, because of the over crowded town I had(now an aftermath). I just wished to have earned the deco, buildings, and characters on my own, let I still hadn’t gotten yet. But the announcement of the shutdown, it became a free for all. It diminished the game. I stopped playing for the 3 months prior to today. But the last month of cramming to “try” to best finish it was fun, but upsetting due to it was not going to be around anymore. Or at least this version. There will never be a game like is. There will be attempts to duplicate, but nothing will be as fun, to be able to connect with other’s on this same level. This game prior to the announcement was #6, at the time in the app store. TSTO: RIP

For some reason my headlights and wipers don't work in my satsuma even tho I connected everything. Everything else works and the car even passed the inspection but when I press L or K neither of them want to work. With other vehicles both of them work as intended. Does anyone know what's going on?

So I was a bit anxious about the entrance exam/1st phase results and I started looking on the Tohoku Uni website and I found this: Future Examination Topics and Past Examinations for Study shared on the Division of Mechanical Engineering Tohoku University Website. There is a document under the Future Examination Topics subsection titled Conducted February-March 2025. Though the website says this is for graduate level, I imagine we must know the basics like calc and ideal gas laws, etc. Can someone confirm whether this is a good guide as to what to study?

Okay, so none of my daydreams are inherently negative but sometimes I'll create negative scenarios within a dream that end up hurting me, to the point that I can feel it. Idk why I do this and the dream always reverts back to it's original state when I'm done. Has anyone else ever done this, and if so, why?
