Hey all.
So I've had a prescription for blexten for a long time and it works ok for my rhinitis but not the best.
So I tried Reactine (cetirizine) instead which worked pretty well but the problem was it causes drowsiness despite saying non drowsy on the box. I also read that it can cause drowsiness.
Anyway I'm curious if anyone else has had experience with any other effective antihistamine for rhinitis that didn't cause drowsiness. I was thinking of trying xyzal (levocetirizine) but not sure if it would be any different from the Reactine.

Hello first Reddit post ever. I’ve stayed at the Kimpton Seafire three years in a row and each trip booked with points an ocean view room. Is it me or did the policy change this year as I see no more Ocean View rooms as one of the rewards nights options? I’m also Diamond Elite as I spend my way to the status…any luck with booking a room and then getting upgraded. any info appreciated.

2025.01.25 01:00 DoubanWenjin2005 物理科普播主 Diana Cowern 2022 年患“长新冠”卧床不起，如今第一次重新站立。我在新冠前有类似经历，看了一年医生，查不出任何问题，三年后自然好转。虽然医学上没有正式诊断，但是互联网显示全世界这类人群不少，95% 以上五年内痊愈（播主和我都是近三年时间），少数可能持续十几年直到健康全面恶化，也有能挺过更长时间持续终生的情况。目前我的猜测是，任何严重病毒感染都有一定概率导致类似症状，可能是病毒彻底改变了新陈代谢某环节，尤其可能改变了线粒体，或者和感染长期胶着状态影响了线粒体，导致无法产生足够能量支持日常活动。

i recently got a job as a line cook, it's not my first line but it's way more complicated than my last job cause i used to do breakfast only. now this was a huge opportunity for me to build a resume so i made sure to write down all their menu, memorize where everything is, i haven't really made a big or medium mistake yet.
but what really really bothers me is the fact that whenever it gets busy, without exception, the general manager comes in the kitchen and starts micromanaging everyone. he sometimes even touches the food or participates in the cooking which is very weird cause he doesn't say "behind," generally does not know the song and dance so he'll get in your way, and he'll constantly ask you random questions to bust you forgetting something. i feel like he comes in to observe and decide who gets more shifts next week.
today he started asking me what goes in each menu item right as i was trying to flip my omurice omelette, and i got so nervous that i broke my omelette and then i immediately got sent to the dish pit. this has happened almost every time he came in, cause we don't need an extra person, and i wish he'd just have the balls to put the apron on and start cooking if he was gonna boot me every time it got serious. he says he only has to do this cause i'm not good enough, but i've worked for two weeks already and every mistake i made was because of the nerve wracking attitude of this guy.
so today i was just joking around with my coworker and he started yelling at me about how it's so serious in the industry and there's no time for sitting around, general manager style. now if i could take shit like that i'd be a bartender and making bank right now. then he tried to send me to dish before i even made a mistake, so i just flat out said no. i literally could see him saying "i'll do your dishes," looking at the sink and deciding it was too much so he started yelling at me to promote himself to line lol.
i just politely told him no i don't want to, you hired someone with experience not a dishwasher, and i wouldn't have a problem if that was my job, but all the management from someone who's not a chef is weighing on me. he told me it's just a misunderstanding and as soon as i get good enough i can do things my way, but my coworkers say he's been nosy for years now lol.
so yeah i think i gotta look for a new job and fix my mistakes while i'm at it, cause i feel like i acted like a kid and let him treat me like one.

me : 30-50, intelligent, and...and....that's about it. but for real, i want to be judged on my mind rather than my body. i'd like our conversations to be challenging and life shaping. i love hiking, thrifting, and talking to people. if you like random pictures i can send those also.
what : talking when i'm not working, without either of us getting upset at the other's schedule, but at the same time becoming a vital part of each other's lives
where : mid atlantic or appalachia preferred but anywhere is cool. my schedule on work days means i can talk in the early morning and late evening eastern, while on non-work days i'm free much more
when : give me a few hours of your time tonight and you can decide if you want to give me a few days then we can decide if we give each other a few weeks, etc
why : what have you got to lose?
