2025.01.25 01:15 Potato_Legal Wife's Nursing School Tuition or 401k?
Looking for advice. M(33) and currently on track for maxed out 401k this year, 4k in HSA & about 1.5k in roth. Wife (31) wants to do a further education from LVN to RN which tuition will be (worst case) 90k and potential savings by testing out of classes. I make about 120/yr and she makes 45/yr. Can have about 20k saved by time for first payment on hand with no other debts. Should I cut down on 401k this year to have more cash, wait until after she is in school (maybe not working any longer) and make the payments or keep up my 401k contribution as is and pay off when she has a higher paying job (assumption here is RN starting salary of 75k conservitavely)?
Currently have 80k in 401k right now.
Already looking into CC classes and severely impacted as she has tried to get in to those for the past 3 years already & it's on a lotto system.
Tl;dr Choice between cash flowing a nursing school tuition or 401k contribution

For context, we have lost hot water due to cold weather and have to heat up some to bathe. I've been using my old aluminum pot and I noticed this once I poured cold water out of it. Calcium? Or is it the aluminum causing this? We aren't consuming stuff from this pot here the past week, just bathing with the water. But is it safe to use from here on if I give it a good cleaning with vinegar? Thanks!

So…I watched this film cause it was free on YouTube and I’ve been disturbed all week. Nevertheless, when I saw the film I really thought the wounded patient in the makeshift hospital next to Ruth’s daughter at the end was him. Essentially Jimmy’s character if the same affectations of Ruth around the time of her death were added to his appearance. I thought this kind of made sense. Here’s the long lost father right next to his daughter in her most vulnerable moment as his grandchild is on the way but the dramatic irony is that he is completely oblivious to it all because of his clear trauma and seperation and she to him. What should be a final flicker of hope becomes nothing, there is no reunion. If the film isn’t depressing enough the shot of the three of them - father, daughter and granddaughter - all in one - an entire generation - one thread cut to pieces by nuclear war separating them all from each other and ruining each of their lives. I didn’t consider until after the film that my interpretation wasn’t a popular one and that Jimmy simply vanished as those in war often do with his potential survival a mystery. Is my interpretation of all this a mainstream viewpoint? Has there been any suggestion of it by directing interviews or movie notes? Just curious.

I don’t understand why this is so difficult?
I am an account manager of the family plan, I can only see 3 months of my call log. There was even 1 agent told me to go to physical store and they will print the entire thing for me. Lie. Retail staff only want to make money and don’t want to help for free.
I’m so frustrated, I’ve been with VZ for more than a decade, and I can’t even get my 2024 call log, the simple request. Last customer service agent even told me they don’t have the access to call log because they need to “protect” customers. The other 2 agents said will be in mail and there was nothing.
Why is it so difficult? Anyone knows how to get it ? My online account only has 3 months
