Had a colonoscopy by an in-network doctor, at their own surgery center. Before the procedure I spoke with the doctor and billing office to make sure it was all in-network. They confirmed in writing via email, explicitly said I’d only be responsible for my $50 co-pay, with no out-of-network charges.
Weeks after I get 2 denial EOB letters from my insurance, saying the surgery center and anesthesiologist are out of network, and I’ll owe $20K. After some googling it looks like the surgery center and anesthesiologist aren’t in-network with any insurance!
What is happening? Will the doctor’s office really come after me for $20K, when in writing they said I’d only be billed for $50? If so, what can I do? I’m not sure if No Surprises Act will cover this.

 | There are many characters from the Spider-Man lore that could enter Marvel Rivals and one of them is Vulture/ Adrian Toomes Beyond his role in the game and abilities, it is equally interesting to think about what his story could be in this new universe created for the video game If we base ourselves on what has been done so far, it is almost a fact that they will take almost completely his origin in the comics "an older engineer who was sabotaged by his company partner and now uses his technology to commit crimes" The easiest thing is that he is a complete villain, a member of the Sinister Six and that's it However, revisiting his story, it is likely that if Adrian is introduced, they will go down another path And it is that in the comics, Adrian has had some attempts at redemption over the years or to make him look more like a gray villain This was reinforced later with his adaptation in the MCU that took this concept and made it his everything, a gray villain which you can even understand his actions and in view of the fact that for Rivals they take part of the inspiration from the Mcu, it wouldn't be surprising if they give Adrian a similar treatment, although based more on the comics for example I feel that the main focus of the villain would be his granddaughter Tiana Toomes (Starling) that in the comics there was the retcon that just like in the Mcu, Adrian also stole to support his granddaughter's family with whom he has a great relationship that despite the fact that she is a heroine and he is a villain, the love he has for her is unbreakable I came to believe that would be the basis of the character in rivals, he would continue to be someone evil who hates Spider-man, but who is capable of putting his pride aside if his family is at risk and that could be the explanation for him being in the game in his story it could be that Tiana has been kidnapped by some villain during this fusion of worlds. Adrian, upon learning this, tried to save her on his own, but was quickly outmatched and made it out alive, leading him to take "desperate" measures, swallowing his pride and asking for help from his greatest enemy, Spider-man His attitude would be like in the comics: stubborn, headstrong, intelligent and proud, but also loyal to those he cares about In dialogues there could be references to the second Vulture (Blackie Drago) or also in comments with Peter there could be references to the cancer that Adrian suffered or to Nathan Lubensky, a love interest of May and friend of his who died because of him As for dialogues with other characters, he would possibly be cold and contemptuous with mutants because they have achieved immortality in Krakoa (as happens in the comics) They could possibly take the grudge of Adrian from the MCU towards "celebrity" heroes like Tony Stark And perhaps because of his very strong bond with his family it is likely that he despises villains like Loki But these are just my ideas, what do you think? submitted by Altruistic_Eye_1157 to marvelrivals [link] [comments] |

First business class flight tomorrow. JAL from Tokyo to Paris. 14.5 hrs taking off around 830am. I have booked a window seat and it looks like I’ll have 3 windows to myself! I love looking out of the window but due to claustrophobia I usually book an aisle seat in economy. Can’t wait to try business class and during the day so I can look out the window 😊 just posting because I am excited tbh.
