I'm looking for recommendations on sheets that are both soft and high-quality, with corner straps to keep them securely in place.
Since we got our new Tempur-Pedic mattress, we've been dealing with the frustrating issue of sheets popping off when the adjustable bed is inclined—especially when we're playing video games. This wasn’t an issue with our old mattress, and unfortunately, the brands I loved for regular sheets don't offer strapped options.
I do have one set with straps that we like, but I also have a set that I really dislike, so I thought I’d reach out to you all for your experiences. Softness is definitely a priority for us, and bonus points if the sheets are breathable or work well for warm sleepers!
Also, we tried the corner straps you can add to any sheet, but they haven’t worked out for us. The setup of our room makes it difficult to use them effectively, so I’m hoping to find a more seamless solution. Any suggestions?

In S2E2, Mark responds “Persephone” when his sister asked if he remembered her name after the OT. He’s being funny here and it’s said in passing.
the parallels between Persephone and her journey to the underworld and CYCLICAL return to the surface are obvious to things we see in the show. However, Persephone was kidnapped by her UNCLE hades. We don’t know who Mark and Devon’s parents are let alone their uncle is but I do know at least ONE uncle/niece relationship and that’s Mark and Eleanor.
I know a lot of people think the Persephone comment could be related to Gemma’s fate but the fact that Persephone and Hades were uncle/niece is really interesting to me and especially so when I think back to season 1 and Petey gives Mark a Happy Birthday Niece card.
For the record I do not think mark is evil. (Persephone and Hades do marry - mythology spoiler alert) I just keep thinking that there’s more to this baby than just some baby. Ricken feels mysterious and important.

I'm 2nd gen Viet in the states and I never picked up Vietnamese. I understand simple phrases and foods but my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and any native speaker have always told me my pronunciation is trash. This year, I finally decided it was time for me to learn the language. So at 29, I found a tutor through preply who lives in Southern Vietnam and we're currently working on the basics like pronunciation. I take one class a week and I practice almost every night by going over the class recording, practicing the pronunciations we've gone over so far and watching YouTube videos for different explainations on how to pronounce things.
I'm feeling frustrated and discouraged because there are some pronunciations I'm just not getting right. My nh sounds like my ng, I'm having a hard time remembering all the different vowel sounds and my consonants still don't sound fully accurate. It's disheartening because I grew up surrounded by this language so I feel like I should be able to pick it up faster.
I'm trying to give myself grace because it's only been 3 weeks but it's hard when you have a lifetime of guilt for never learning. Is there anyone else in a similar situation?
