I'm going to college in a few weeks and haven't decided on which one is best for me. My long-term goal is to end up working in private equity in some capacity. I'm thinking about taking forensic accounting because it would help me become proficient with numbers in theory and would be a good value add to a Finance or MBA bachelors but I'm unsure if that's really how fraud examination works. Financial Managment is the alternative and the degree plan covers concepts covered under PE. Can anyone share their 2C?

on my laptop, roblox is being so laggy to the point where I can't even move nor turn my screen. it's worked perfectly fine with this exact device before and just this week it's started to act out. I've tried restarting my laptop and updating it but nothing seems to work. I managed to lower the graphics all the way down and make sure no apps were running in the background and it seems to stay the same. I can't tell if this is just a device issue or if it's roblox since I've played roblox on my laptop before and there's been no issues. plss help 😓😓 I miss roblox

Newly in a relationship - just a little over a month. Let me say, we are moving extremely fast. I recently quit my job and found a new job closer to my friends, the city, and my bf. My bf suggested I move in. He said it’s either going to work or it’s not. I agree 100%. He is extremely patient, kind, and mature. The whole package. So I decided why not? (I have back up plans if it doesn’t work btw) We’re on our own timeline and I’ve never felt this connected to someone. I’ve done a lot of thinking to make sure I’m not just blinded by infatuation. I’ve even brought it up to my therapist because I know it all seems crazy.
The other night we got into a fight - I asked him to do something sexually, he gave me his parameters, instead of moving on I got extremely upset. I felt rejected and it didn’t help I was a little drunk. I ended up crying and threatening to leave. I overreacted so much. I know I was being extremely immature and over dramatic. We talked about it the next day. It was hard and awkward - but that’s only because I was in the wrong and I had to admit it. I also was extremely upset for treating him this way.
I absolutely love this man and I don’t want to ruin things. I feel so awkward about the situation and last night when we went to bed I tried to cuddle him and he politely asked for space. I’m glad he communicated this. But things feel weird. I suffer from anxiety, so I know I need to chill out.
I’m thinking of asking what he needs/how much space from me so things aren’t weird. We’re obviously still getting to know each other. I just want to progress forward and figure out how to handle conflict with this new relationship.

Okay so im explaining this whole situation im kinda stuck in, i really want advice. i just turned 15 this month(im a girl btw) and last summer, this guy who graduated from my school added me on snap. I didnt realize this and we traded nudes. He didnt ask for my age until later and thats when i found out he was 19. He was fine with it and i was too. At this point i still didnt know he graduated from my school. One time we were trading and he asked me to do smth not extremely weird but it was odd so i unadded him. He then, found my insta and asked me why i blocked him. Thats when i found out he was friends with/knew a lotta people that i know in band. We tried to hook up over the summer but i was busy and my friend was really worried so i didnt. In between this time, i tell my senior friend. Fast forward to this week (we had sent nudes since summer but not frequently), i accidentally run into him at a gas station, we dont say anything, just breif eye contact. Thats strikes a conversation later on Snapchat. He still wants to make plans to hook up and says if he gets a gf he wants me to be his side piece. Fast forward to the next day. My freind told her brother who is freinds with him and a lot of the boys in band. And my senior freind i told earlier was being loud in lunch so now my lunch group knows too. I dont wanna be known as the freshman who he talked to. I just dont know what to do. Should i talk to my friends brother and his freinds since they know him? Should i drop it? I just feel bad becuase i got myself into this mess and i dont want to burden anyone.

This game comes out in four months. We have seen about 10 minutes of anything from the game. That is not normal, that is a red flag.
For the previous doom games we had entire gameplay demos live and a good deal more for the marketing. Stuff was kept close to their chest, sure, but they still showed quite a bit. Meanwhile, for the Dark Ages, we can't even tell how it plays. We don't know how the levels are structured or what the combat looks like in more difficult scenario, or even if there is a jump button. I was caught completely off guard when they said May 2025
From the outset this makes the dark ages a harder sell, just because I don't know what I'm buying. But it also is a red flag because it suggests that this game is low budget. A AAA franchise release like that is not going to be so low key otherwise. Either Microsoft does not think Doom The Dark Ages is a large enough project to warrant a massive marketing push, or the game is in an internal state which makes marketing it difficult. Either the dark ages is a short game, or it's a rushed game.
I dont think the dark ages is a bad idea. It's more interesting than an eternal clone, and trying to top eternal's pace is probably impossible. But the fact that we have so little to work on makes me worried about how well DTDA will be able to execute on its ideas.

Is it illegal for a director to never approve medical leave, workers comp or unemployment? I've talked to every coworker and a massive ampunt of them have filed for workers comp through out the years, and not one was approved by Mrs. C. Mynplan is to work until i faint on clock and go to union cause this is not okay for her to be doing this to her employees. Cause i know she'll get in way more trouble if she had an employee have a medical emergency on the clock. (Myself and others have told her about our medical conditions)
