Para sa mga doctor parents diyan, how did you juggle your responsibilities? If may yaya, how were you able to find one a mapagkakatiwalaan? Did one of you have to give up or scale back their practice?

Hey everyone, I’m a 21-year-old Muslim girl from Mumbai, and I’ve recently come to terms with the fact that I’m asexual. While I know relationships aren’t just about one thing, I still want to be with someone who understands and accepts my identity without feeling like they’re compromising their own needs.
I come from a fairly traditional background, and while my family is supportive in many ways, they don’t really understand asexuality. Most of the people I know are either looking for traditional relationships or don’t quite get why intimacy isn’t a priority for me. I do want a loving and committed relationship, but finding someone who shares similar values and is also ace (or at least ace-friendly) feels really challenging.
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with this or knows where I could meet like-minded people, whether it’s online communities, apps, or even within local social circles. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s in a similar boat or has advice on navigating relationships as an asexual person in a cultural setting where it’s not widely understood.

 | I’ve been wanting to change my seafood consumption for a while. Finally jumping into the tins. My 5 yr old daughter will try anything so she is enthusiastically joining me. I’ll be recording our likes and dislikes so I know how to approach our next order. We started with the Ecofood Armenian eels in unagi sauce and the Real Conserva whole baby squids in olive oil. Daughter doesn’t mix stuff with sauce or rice: everything is straight outta the tin. She loved the eel. Finished the whole thing. I did not enjoy as much. I think I’m tainted by decades of eating Japanese barbecued eel, which is a completely different experience, and it influenced my expectation. The thin sauce and the softer meat just didn’t work for me. The squids went differently. I loved them. Three levels of tastes and textures (head/tentacles, body, insides) totally worked for me. Looking forward to exploring some recipes for next time. Daughter was not a fan because of the very things that appealed to me: layers of textures and tastes. Again, she doesn’t like to mix things. I need advice regarding who to ask for the letter of recommendation. I was thinking of asking a TK teacher whom I currently work alongside with. However, she is not my employer. She is a teacher, an employee at the Elementary school I work at. Would that work or should I ask a previous college professor? I have other strong components (such as a TESOL certificate) and would hate to be disqualified over something small.
