She shows me a picture because she has my old Facebook and a list of my Facebook friends. If I don't pay her, the person will publish it from my nude on the net and send it to my friend's. It scares me, and I don't know what to do because I'm freaking out. I didn't realize it was a fake person who was making a account, and I've been scammed. I'm such embarrassed!

I'm reaching out because I'm really struggling with anxiety over an upcoming family event, and I could use some advice or support. About six years ago, my husband’s family had a massive falling out over a wedding we couldn't attend. His sisters blamed me, called me an awful wife, and said terrible things about me to my husband. When I confronted them, the insults got worse, and my husband didn’t take my side he literally turned on me through all the manipulation. This not only hurt me deeply but also affected our children, especially my son who was 9 at the time and saw those hurtful messages on my husband's phone.
Through therapy, my husband and I managed to stay together, but I rarely see his sisters now. Despite everything, I’ve never stopped my husband from having a relationship with his family, and I’ve always attended family events, even though it’s been very tough. My kids don’t like his sisters either, but we all go to avoid conflict.
Now, my sister-in-law has announced her engagement, and I’m filled with dread. The thought of celebrating her marriage when she tried to destroy mine makes me feel physically sick. I don’t want to go, but I know it will cause huge arguments if I don’t.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you handle it? Any advice or coping strategies would be greatly appreciated.

I feel so unenthused about anything because I'm currently unemployed. I'm trying, I really am but it's so hard to find a sustainable job these days. Unless you know someone already working for a company, you're pretty much spending time throwing bait in a swimming pool. Bills are backing up, which I'm not used to and it's deflating .When I am looking/networking it seems like I'm begging and get left with a "I'll call you right back". I'm applying to jobs that I feel I can do and an qualified for but nothing is coming and I feel so sad. I try everyday to apply to jobs but if you saw my application submission, you'd know I was actually trying. I didn't know why companies always want to go back in the past to determine if they'll hire you. It seems like a set up of some sort.
