Vol 22 is coming in few days, and i know many people will complain about their favorite characters not getting the spotlight. And I can understand that. Geld is one of my favorite characters in series and he has been always sidelined.
But You have to understand that tensura has very large cast of characters and not all of them can get the spot light. Yeah primordials are very ancient powerful beings but most of them like rain, misery, deeno, zalario and others are side characters, They will be sidelined for main cast.
Many people complain about them not getting enough time instead benimaru and others are getting more limelight. Of course benimaru will get more screen, he is one of the og characters.
In shonen shows, beinamaru and shion are the earliest subordinates of rimuru. They will get more fights and time compare to someone like deeno or rain. They hold important position inside the series. Like kages from naruto were important figures but they got sidelined for main cast. similarly Squad 0 who were ancient beings in bleach got sidelined for main cast of the series. It's always like that in any shonen.
You just had high expectation that a side character who has barely any dialogue until 15 volumes will get more screentime against characters like shion or benimaru who are the integral part of the series since their introduction.
