Thank you for your answers
For the past 6 months I have been only working and working without any leisure, at all. No hobbies, no music, no video games, no Netflix, etc. I have no friends and I live with aging parents who are always grumpy.
I haven't had the energy to go get a cut haircut for months now and I often run errands and buy groceries and get local purchases done in my pajamas, and I have plantar fasciitis so I limp when I walk.
My hair doesn't get tidy no matter how many times I comb it, it urgently needs a haircut, so I look very disheveled.
Couple that with extreme depression, and I haven't had brushed my teeth in a month and I stay in my room all day.
I don't feel sad, or depressed, I just feel "empty". Like there's no sadness or grief. But I feel cold, emotionless, and most importantly, very lazy and have no mental energy to get things done.
My brother came for a visit and he's not visited me for a while and he told me I look like a terminal cancer patient.
I already go to a psychiatrist and take lots and lots of medications and visit him every few months but that's as much mental healthcare as I can afford or have access to.
I don't know what to do. I feel like I am stuck.
What to do?

Having a hard time dealing with being on my own lately. I’ve been out of my 8 year relationship for about a year and a half now and I just can’t believe how hard it is to meet anyone these days… I feel like I’m decent enough, 29 years old, good job, decent looking, fit, 5’9”, but it just seems impossible. Apps are a disaster, few matches and those that do tend to fizzle out and stop messaging. Meeting girls in person has been equally as hard. It’s really making me feel invisible and unwanted… I totally understand the work on yourself and things get better sentiment, but it’s hard to stay motivated when you can’t seem to find love despite your best efforts.

 | I know I’m gonna look stupid and I apologize for any person that I annoy by being so oblivious, trust me it’s harder to see the truth when you’re in the spur of the moment,so let’s get to it,I was contacted by a person for the pc I was trying to sell as I was facing financial issues,person asked me to drop off the pc at their house and that they’ll pay me in cash,when I got there they said they were sick offered me a percentage of the total agreed amount saying the rest would be for prescription drugs and that they were too sick to go to the ATM and that they would etransfer the rest they sent me a screenshot of the etransfer to a contact by my name but never showed themselves actually sending it to my email,I said I’ll wait in front of his house until I get it but my phone was dying and it was 10pm so I left,when I made it home it started making sense that I got scammed what can I do as rent is coming up and I got scammed out of what was supposed to be my rent money,I posted a picture of the scammer if anybody has had an encounter with this guy please let me know and what are my options. submitted by Intelligent-Cut3162 to montreal [link] [comments] |

first and foremost, this is coming from a solo lane main who lost many tools going into smite 2, and as someone who has mained warriors + Cthulhu, most of which are highly likely to be strength based in smite two. that is my bias, let us begin
I'm a Mulan enjoyer, and going from smite 1 to smite 2, i went to look for a strength, cooldown, and lifesteal. that doesn't exist. but it's int counterpart does, that being soul gem, which sucks for me, a god with only strength scaling.
ok, let's turn our eye towards a niche item for junglers, a strength item to decrease ult cooldown. nope. the only option, that being the world stone, is int.
maybe the hybrid items will come in clutch, what do strength users have that int users don't? shield splitter and a vortex on eye of the storm.
on the other side of that coin, what do int users have that strength users don't?
-an active item that marks enemies hit and gives a shield upon hitting said marked enemy (lifebinder)
-an item that increases physical prots when you take physical damage (helm of radiance)
-YOU CAN'T ESCAPE (gem of isolation)
-Scepter of hehe, you get displaced and lose damage *puppy eyes* (Jade scepter)
-stick of this fire giant is mine now (scepter of dominion)
-stealth stick 3000 (helm of darkness)
and 2 massive stat sticks that give either 100 prots, more than any item in the game not named spirit robe while also giving 70 int (sphere of negation), which is comparable to many offensive int items, and also wish granting pearl, which gives the second highest flat int in the game (120 int) barring only dreamer's idol at 140.
strength scalers? *crickets*
if you take out all the left click items strength scalers are shafted when it comes to items. take out all the left click items and strength users lose 13 items while int users lose 5. 5. int users get everything spoon fed to them while the strength users have to fight over the discarded leftovers.
I want items like soul eater to come back to fill the strength lifesteal cdr niche, old runeforged and flameforged melded together into an unholy abomination, sekhmet's for the surtrs of the world. please hi-rez, throw us a bone, we're struggling out here

Hey everyone, I’m (32M) Brazilian, NZ resident, living here since 2020 and never really searched much about investing on this side of the world. Back in Brazil I used to invest in stocks but changed all my portfolio for fixed income (thought would be a good idea to use the high interest atm, since some of them are paying 14%+ inflation per annum).
In NZ I have around $20k in a savings account but want to find a better investment for that. Possibly transfer some money from Brazil since the value of the currency there is not great and I don’t plan to live there again. Thank you very much for any insights😬

Noting that this is not the usual burning season b/s so posting here in the hopes it doesn’t get deleted by the mods.
In short, I’m stuck here during burning season as I’m recovering from a compound fracture in my spine and literally can’t travel.
We weren’t originally going to be here (current condo expires Feb 25).
I’m surprised to see that there seem to be zero price reductions on any short terms rentals March-May.
Surely there’s a bunch of empty condos during that period?

The different cities and states also offer different experiences. The old america and settler architecture of the east coast in philly, New York, Virginia, etc. the Cajun and creole Southern food, music, and hospitality of Louisiana, the pacific beach and laid back vibe, a Colorado skiing club, or a powow in Nevada. our culture is mostly a blend of African American, Anglo, and Hispanic influences and even Asian. Sports like baseball, ice hockey, American football, Sure we might have regressed into corporate late stage capitalism and consumerism, But If you think america has no culture you need to go outside more and educate yourself, I also think the problem is our culture is so global and widespread that people don't see it as culture anymore
