 | My partner and I spent the last few weeks watching Girls; my first time, his second time. At some point during the first season, I became so incensed over how annoying I found almost everyone that I started a running list that would change over time and that I would add new characters to as the popped up. A lot of characters changed positions and there are certainly big gaps between certain characters but ultimately this is where I landed by the final episode. A quick question regarding PS trophies: may I transpose a soul weapon into a spell/sorcery/etc., backup the save, and then use the same soul for acquiring a weapon and still aim for the „all miracles/spells/etc trophies”? I can live without boss weapons, but the Moonlight Greatsword from Oceiros… You know, it’s a tradition to have it :)

2025.01.26 07:30 Echosfall Thoughts about my first playthrough
I want to start off by saying that I am a casual fan who does not extensively know the lore by heart, but I have played all the games and have been waiting for this game to come out for years. I read somewhere that much of the characters and content in this game was released in alternative DA media throughout the years prior to release, but I am unfamiliar with any of that, so much of it was new to me. I just finished my first playthrough as an elven rouge shadow dragon with no inquisition history attached.
I thought the characters in Veilguard were by far the most interesting in the series. The graphics were pretty good, the storyline was interesting, and I enjoyed that there were new additions to previous games such as the shadow dragons, while also incorporating past topics such as the blight, grey wardens, and the Inquisition. I loved that the inquisitor and Morrigan make appearances, as well as Isabella and Dorian.
I was also disappointed that other aspects were not included. I feel like the Lords of Fortune would be right up Iron Bull’s alley and that of his companions, and that he could have been mentioned or made a cameo. Merrill was focused on elven artifacts and often referenced the Dread Wolf, and so could have worked with Bellara and other Veil Jumpers. Fenris could have made an appearance or been referenced regarding freeing Tevinter slaves or fighting the Venatori. Characters like Cullen or Aveline could have appeared during the final battle for support since the final battle took place in High Town and the Inquisitor was involved. Divine Victoria was referenced in the beginning, with no mention of if it were Leliana or Cassandra. Either Cole or Anders might have been used to provide advice to Lucanis since one was possessed by a spirit and one was a spirit turned somewhat human, but they were not involved either.
I was disappointed that past history couldn’t be imported the way it was in other games. I entirely missed the limited Tarot inquisition choices my first play through. Isabella was my Hawke’s romantic interest and survived in Inquisition, and could have made an appearance or been referenced. Morrigan’s son was not referenced and did not make an appearance. I feel like there was so much more content that could have been incorporated into the game that was left out, especially since players spent so much time crafting specific histories throughout the series with the choices they made, just for those choices to be irrelevant and nonexistent in this game. I was also disappointed that there is no DLC available because the ending to the game seems abrupt.
In all, I still loved the experience, and I am now enjoying my second play with the limited choices available to me for Inquisition history. I am excited to see any differences that may occur. I just wish after all the years spent waiting for this game that there had been a better way to tie in the games before.

 | I‘m so excited because I started testing at CD8 to not miss my surge. It‘s my first cycle after loss (would have been my second pregnancy, early loss) and first time using OPKs. I have PCOS. My baseline was 0,05-0,2 until today I got a 1.06. I will test again in the evening to see if it goes down and we will definitely BD today, even though I got whatever cold my LO had.
