so my best friend and i went out tonight. for context, we’ve been friends since 6th grade, and we’re 22 now. (we’ll call her sarah.) she has been talking to this guy, who we’ll call john, for about 3 months, and they only started dating about 3 weeks ago. i met john while him and sarah were only talking, not exclusive, and he seemed decent. definitely a bit immature for his age and he lacked politeness in some ways, but i didn’t hold that against him. well, fast forward to last week, sarah tells me that john’s dumped her- for “acting weird.” he says that she was hiding something from him and that he can’t trust her- because she was on her phone during a movie and turned her brightness down. sarah also told me about an instance where john made fun of a skin condition she has that he’s previously known about (i won’t specify what the condition is to maintain her privacy.) so, throughout this past week sarah’s said that john has blocked her on all social media, unblocked her, and is now texting her and expecting regular updates from her on where she goes. all while “not dating.” which brings us to tonight. i’m fed up with hearing about him, and how he’s been treating my friend! so when we see him at the bar and he gives sarah a side hug (while barely looking at her) i just looked away. he then reached out to shake my hand, and i looked at him and said “hey.” i didn’t reach my hand back out, and sarah immediately scolds me for not shaking it. i weakly put my hand out and give it a slight shake. (this, i’ll admit, was a bit petty on my end.) john then walked away to another end of the bar, and sarah and i left soon after, because she was upset at me for not shaking his hand. i explained that i didn’t want anything to do with john, due to the way he’s treated her and especially since they technically “weren’t dating” so i didn’t need to bother with formalities like i would if they were together. she explained that it’s still rude to not shake his hand and that i should’ve put my feelings aside and shown him respect. she also noted that she would never treat my boyfriend like this. i then said “___ and i have been together for 5 years and he’s never done anything like this to me. if he had, i would definitely expect you to react the same way. i wont apologize for not ‘respecting’ someone that doesn’t respect my friend” she was the driver tonight, so we drove in silence until she dropped me off at my apartment. i told her to let me know when she made it home, and that was that. so, am i the asshole?

Those who hope for an imminent "Disclosure" about UFOs and work tirelessly to document the phenomenon should consider a critical fact: Disclosure would have to come from the same organizations that manage the security briefs on such matters. These organizations operate under their own agendas and constraints, which, while perhaps regrettable, may also be deemed legitimate.
A government body or its classified contractors can claim to possess answers and manipulate the narrative without consequence. They could even present false disclosures to quench the public's thirst for what is perceived as "truth" and to fuel the media's enthusiasm, all under the guise of serving a supposed higher good. But this raises a valid question: A higher good for whom?
From a practical standpoint, it seems only a very small group has any genuine grasp of the truth. This group is not the usual military or intelligence agencies often accused of concealing "the truth," though each does guard its own secrets and may stash fragments of evidence away. On that level, there is quite literally nothing to disclose. Within government structures, conventional security clearances appear irrelevant here, leaving Congress unable to summon Federal Marshals to compel a scientist to testify or release someone from an old oath of secrecy. What secrecy? Is there anything even written down?
Framed in this light, the situation borders on absurdity. As “Sir” Arthur Lundahl, the renowned founding director of the CIA’s Photographic Interpretation Center (APIC), remarked to me at his home on September 14, 1989, when we were discussing a particularly sensitive UFO case riddled with public lies and hidden truths, the irony is undeniable. So much so, in fact, that even the most determined UFO researchers and podcasters avoid addressing it.
Any future Disclosure will be controlled by the same groups that have curated this dossier for the past 75 years. They can spin the narrative however they see fit, maintaining that the military must retain authority. They have the capability to reshape the story entirely, creating new entities and false leads to keep the public chasing shadows. This is their expertise.
No external force can pressure such organizations. If you lack their clearance, you can't challenge them; if you have it, you're certainly not going to challenge them.
The paradox runs even deeper: There may be nothing concrete to dispute or confirm, at least not in the way people have framed their questions. At best, small advancements in technology may gradually surface through standard intellectual property avenues—patents and trade secrets—allocated to top-tier high-tech companies supporting defense and space programs, as Colonel Corso suggested.
We all know who those companies are.
Even so, these firms may hesitate to pursue such ambitious and uncertain projects. They might prefer to allocate their brightest minds to more practical and profitable ventures. After all, we still use enormous, inefficient rockets weighing hundreds of thousands of pounds to send a couple of astronauts to the moon, equipped with a small shovel and two days of dehydrated food—just as we did in 1969.

Hi I have no idea how to tell if or what or how to upgrade the ram in my PC if possible I would like to go up to 64 gb of ram. I followed a video to use the command function on my PC and from what I understood my PC can recognize up to 64 gb of ram and is currently only using 1 of the 4 slots with an 8 gb stick of ram. I would appreciate the help I really want to play Marvel Rivals on my PC and I meet all the minimum requirements except for ram. 2025.01.26 07:24 Noncog0 Denon Perl Pro EQ (and other information, including vs. mtw4 and az80)

Based on great review here about the DPP's, I'd had my eye on them, and when they went on sale for half off I pulled the trigger. I wanted to go all in, so I switched to an LG V60, and went ahead and ordered Azla SendaEarFit Crystal 2 TWS tips. Switching to the V60 was dumb, I'd assumed that these earbuds would support LDAC, but apparently the industry moved on to AptX Lossless while I was out of it, so my devices aren't great at talking to each other. When I first used them, I was really unhappy with the sound signature, very thin sounding. After a while using the in-app auto eq over and over with different tips, I got something workable, and decided to fine tune it with in-app "ProEQ". The manual EQ in the app was pretty limited in function, and while I got it pretty close, I still felt like it wasn't quite right. At this point, a friend got a pair of MTW4's after I told him to get AZ80's; he gave me his buds and phone and told me to eq. It didn't take long or much adjustment in the Sennheiser app to get a decent sound signature out of them, and we moved on to an A/B test of the 2013 remaster of Hotel California, for all of the detail and separation. I listened to his first and was thinking to myself "man, this song is actually kinda boring for active listening" then we switched, and I listened on my DPP's "oh, that's different, ok, I can see why this song is a classic now". By the first minute and a half my friend stopped the test, "nope, that's all I need, I'm sending these back, you said I should order which ones again?" "Techniks AZ80's" "ok, I'll order those and your denons and see which one I prefer". Once his DPP's and AZ80's came in, it was a world of difference tuning wise. The AZ80's sounded good out of the box, and I found some very small eq adjustment suggestions here and tried them, yep, pretty much perfect sound profile in minutes, my DPP's took 2 weeks and I still didn't feel like it was perfect and the bass was underwhelming. His AZ80's vs my DPP's was VERY VERY close, but I still preferred my DPP's, he did too, but just couldn't get a workable tune on his, the AZ80's were so close that it he ended up keeping them due to the DPP's being un-tunable via the app. To offset my phone blunder, I ordered a creative audio BT-W6, it was a bit of a struggle to connect it to the DPP's, but once I got it running AptX Lossless, I was happy. The mids and highs seemed to sound better, but super tiny difference, I'm not sure it wasn't just placebo; the lows, however, were CLEARLY better, I'm sure it wasn't just a placebo effect on the bass. I was disappointed the the BT-W6 didn't come with ANYTHING other than itself and its carboard packaging, and I immediately started worrying about it breaking if my phone fell while it was in, or losing it if it wasn't in my phone, since its TINY. I decided to keep it in part of the disposable cardboard packaging to make it harder to lose; it wasn't enough, in a week, it somehow came out of the cardboard, and fell out of my pocket. My advice, either keep the whole ass box it came in in your pocket, or 3D print something to carry it in, and maybe a guard for the bottom of your phone?
When I finally got the time and transferred over to the V60, I downloaded the poweramp eq app. It was a little tricky to get to work with tidal, I had to turn on USB debugging on my phone, connect it to my pc via usb, use poweramp's web tool to enable DUMP something or other (damn new-fangled machines, humbug), then in the app enable advanced player tracking (and notification tracking to be safe, not sure if that was necessary). At this point, I set everything back to preset in the Denon app, and started playing around with the poweramp eq. I saw that Rtings had a parametric eq for the DPP's in the app, and started with that, trusting the "experts" since I come from car audio, and am new to in-ear stuff. This immediately sounded better than the out-of-the-box sound, so I was heading in the right direction, but it wasn't perfect, so I started making adjustments while listening to a wide variety of music.
(The DPP's and AZ80's are both a full step above the MTW4's in terms of "resolution" and detail, and I feel the DPP's slightly edge the AZ80's. If you care most about sound and are willing to get into the nitty-gritty of codecs and eq, get the DPP's, otherwise, get the AZ80's, which are great all around, good out of the box, and very easy to tune. Now that my DPP's are dialed in, the only thing I'd see as a MEANINGFUL upgrade would be Rex5's, but those are out of my price range atm)
If I get another BT-W6 and it changes anything I'll update, but for now:
Denon app: default everything, but use the immersion slider as bass control to taste and for different genres
Poweramp EQ:
low shelf, Q0.77, 60Hz, +3.5dB
peaking band, Q1.27, 400Hz, -3dB
peaking band, Q2.09, 850Hz, +0.6dB
peaking band, Q2.74, 1.26KHz, -1.4dB
peaking band, Q1.89, 2.65KHz, +7.1dB
peaking band, Q3.44, 4.52KHz, -1.2dB
peaking band, Q6.00, 5.55KHz, +3dB
high shelf, Q0.70, 10KHz, -3.5dB
The peaking bands take care of peaks and valleys, and should be pretty consistent. I use the Denon app immersion slider for bass control. Since bass and highs are often to taste, they are shelf filters, and can be used somewhat for taste adjustment as well, set the high shelf to 0.0dB if you want more sparkle up top, or down to -5.0 if you want less, for example. I'd probably leave the low shelf and use the denon app for bass, but if you want less, get rid of that whole band. I'm super open to input if anyone uses this EQ and improves upon it even further. Tuning the DPP's was BY FAR my biggest complaint about them, but the Poweramp EQ app fixed that for me. I'm honestly surprised that an app with this much capability and the resources to help users get around software, firmware, and player restriction issues is free. I HIGHLY recommend it.

so eto na nga HAHAHAHA ‘yung kafubu ko year 2023 kami nagkakilala. may nangyari lang sa amin nung 2nd meet na namin, hanggang sa nasundan na nang nasundan. after 2 months na ganon ang set up, bigla nalang nawala communication namin. idk what happened, siya ang unang naging cold. tinry ko pa siyang iapproach pero ang hirap suyuin ni kuya mo! talagang pakipot pa talaga! HAHAHAHA
sa 2 months na iyon, almost everyday kami nagkikita after class. btw my school is in Manila then he is studying in Caloocan. super sweet namin to the point na para kaming nagdedate araw araw 😭 kasi kada nagkikita kami lagi kami kumakain sa labas and kapag naglalakad holding hands talaga. may one time pa na kasama niya ‘yung kaklase niya nung nagkita kami and pinakilala niya ako as her gf sa friend niya na ‘yun 😭.
pero ayon na nga, i admit na ffall na ako sakanya nung mga time na iyon. that’s why pinili kong umiwas na sakanya and ighost na siya. after 2 months (January 2024) he messaged me and nag aaya ng sex. since miss na miss ko na ‘rin naman siya pumayag ako that time!
