Greetings my fellow literary enthusiasts! I'll try to keep this intro brief, but as you can see from my word count above, I like to be thorough lol. This is my fifth novel, and with each one, I write it, edit it, edit it some more, and eventually start researching Literary agents and firing off queries. I know the rejection rate is high for pretty much any unknown, but after a while, I throw in the towel and self-publish just to have a tangible book I can give or sell to friends, family, and the occasional stranger I strike up a conversation with. This time I really want to continue pursuing representation, no matter how long it takes. With that being said, the first round of rejections have already started rolling in, and as I'm sure most of you know, they don't exactly come back with constructive criticism or personalized explanations as to why it wasn't their cup of tea. So, to wrap up this little rant, any and all notes, tips, tricks, likes, dislikes, advice, suggestions, etc. that might help me polish this Query letter to give my manuscript the best possible fighting chance would be extremely appreciated.

Hi! My name is Elyssa, I sat the UCAT last year (first try) and received the scores listed below. Exceeding the 90th percentile in all categories (excluding AR... but that’s not relevant anymore!). My scores collate to a total of around 2500/2700, which I can quite confidently (ish) say would be 95th percentile + in the new scoring system. I also received round 1 offer for medicine and am starting this year!
Please feel free to ask me any questions about the UCAT, from my preparation to on the day experience! I found this platform super helpful when I was preparing and I’d love to give back. I’ve been in your exact shoes.

Shadow the Hedgehog's gun is a Heckler and Koch MP5A3, which is a submachine gun, yet he's often depicted cocking it like a shotgun, which implies he modified his gun to have a pump action. Is there any benefit to doing this? It seems to defeat the whole point of using a submachine gun.

Hi all,
I’m training for my first marathon and would love some advice from you all :)
Here’s some background on where I’m at: I started running about 7 months ago as a way to lose weight, and it’s grown into something I really enjoy. I haven’t followed a structured training plan to date, just incrementally increasing my mileage and sessions each week.
- I’m currently running around 36 km (22.5 miles) per week, typically broken into:
- 10K tempo mid-week
- 5K easy on Saturdays
- A Sunday long run, which has recently been a half marathon for the last 3 weeks.
- Additionally I train at the gym 4 time per week with 2 x lower body sessions. Focusing on a pre-hab routine for a torn hamstring.
- And do 60ish minutes of high intensity cross training each week (bike/ski erg/rower)
- Over the past 4 weeks I’ve run at least 21.1km (13.1 miles) each Sunday on my long runs with one official trail race half marathon. I have been able to achieve HM times of:
- 1:56 on an easy-paced long run.
- 2:08 in the trail race which had 820m (2700 ft) of elevation.
- Is 11 weeks enough time to bridge the gap from my current mileage to the full marathon distance?
- Should I just pick a training plan that fits my schedule and count back 11 weeks, or is there a better approach? Most plans I’ve looked at would have me reducing mileage if I started from week 1, which feels backwards at this point.
- Considering the marathon is on a flat course, does a 4-hour finish time sound like a reasonable goal to strive for?

The Perch (FT Nano Flerken) has an AtomRC Navi Mini. The trout (75% FT goblin) has no stabilization. Baby Ratel 2 in both. Really close to 250g. After I crash the trout real good, I will build again but with foam tac instead of hot glue. I used foam tac on the perch had still had weight left for the flight controller. Weather permitting maiden tomorrow.

Maybe it’s just me but I have never seen Jared or Shelly picking up and carrying Trey. He’s the youngest right? Maybe he doesn’t want to at this age but even a few years ago when he and Kason (?) were even smaller I still never saw the parents picking them up. I’ve seen the older kids do it but never the parents.
