Those of you with past experience with games in this franchise, do you think it’s possible someone might make a transformative mod to overhaul the zone to somewhat simulate the current conflict in Ukraine?
I’m thinking along the lines of replacing anomalies, mutants, and bandits with small squads of Russian forces… and turning the Stalkers into Ukraine special forces with Ward as regular Ukraine Military guarding a few facilities. And otherwise using the map as it is (while also getting rid of radiation outside the immediate vicinity of the CNPP). I think it would make a very cool map for running spec ops against Russian units. But maybe I’m alone.

Hello everyone,
I have some questions about the shaken status in Firefight.
I played my first game yesterday with a friend and we had some questions about the Shaken state.
- When does the Shaken state disappears ? From my understanding, you have to activate a shaken unit to remove the shaken status, and the status ends at the end of that idle activation.
In round 3, I activate my assault brother, it stays idle (does nothing at all), and removes the shaken status. My opponent then activates a unit, shoots at my assault brother, gets a wound through, I roll for would effect and get shaken again.
Is my assault brother shaken again ? Or is he immuned during that second round of being shaken again ? My understanding is that my assault brother can be shaken permanently, is that right ?
- When shaken, does the unit have to pass it's activation, being completely useless during this activation, or can it still do something ? My understanding is that when shaken, a unit activates to remove the shaken status but can't do anything. Which we found frustrating yesterday, as the battle brothers firefight team only has a few units, and having one or two shaken units can be dramatic and turn the tides of the game. My opponent was playing some veterans guardmen with AP4, leading to being shaken very often as long as the quality check passes.

I know this topic has been brought up a bunch recently, but just need to get some stuff off my chest.
Forrest was the big performance tonight at Rock the Universe in Orlando. First time seeing him solo. I thought he did great and got the crowd really engaged.
However, I left feeling a bit sad knowing I'll probably never see the boys up on stage together again. It felt a bit wrong to see Forrest up on stage there with some random people and also playing Sunday best. I'm a huge Forrest fan, but he said a few things tonight that made me think a little deeper: 1) A little before releasing No Longer Bound he said he stopped wanting to do concerts and even contemplated retiring from music. Then he heard from God to release NLB. 2) Before playing Sunday Best he originally said "this was the song that originally put me on the map" but corrected himself to say "put Surfaces on the map"
Regarding Sunday Best, I heard in a Forrest interview before that he thinks Sunday Best is all about "me feeling good" and not God-centered. Idk why you would then play it at your concert and also "feeling good like you should" could mean security from God allowing you to feel good etc.
Sorry for the long post.
Surfaces might be my #1, but I'm still a big Forrest fan and wish him nothing but success in his own endeavors.
Colin, we love you and got your back brother. I know things have probably been tough, but you're super strong. I have full confidence that you can continue Surfaces' great legacy and hopefully we'll see you back on stage soon even if it's without Forrest.
