My eldest brother Matthew has a ton of books, far too many really, and he knows it. Our father is always getting on his case about buying tons of books, many he may never get around to reading as they just take up a ton of space. Last night, he was asking a bunch of questions about Kindles. He asked about the price, how many books it can store, what kind of specs there are, book prices, etc. Hope he gets one!

Hey everyone,
We’re currently renting for around $520 per week, and our overall expenses aren’t very high. We’ve been thinking of buying an apartment outright on a budget of around $350k in Canberra (1 bed room), with the idea of saving some money on rent and keeping our savings safe from inflation (hopefully, the property value increases over time).
The plan is to buy now, live in it for a couple of years, and then sell later when we're ready to move on.
Has anyone else done something similar? Was it worth it in your experience? Did it help with saving money or building equity? Were there any challenges or unexpected costs along the way?
Would love to hear your thoughts or advice, especially if you’ve been in a similar situation. Thanks!

Question 1
So I went out today with my Nokta simplex ultra and i feel more confused than when i started. I did some research and I found a school that was around since the 1920s. When I heard some signals I knew that they were coins and I thought they were silver. I was wrong and they were newer clad quarters that were about 4 inches deep. I've tested out clad and silver before and its hard for me to tell a difference in the tone. The coins were ringing up in the 90s at a very high sound which I thought had to be silver. After that I turned my sensitivity to the max and thought that would work and I found another newer quarter that was 6in deep. My question is how to find silver coins/old coins with my machine and how deep does silver usually lie. Because signals get very faint and unreadable with sensitivity to the max at about 7in ( I tested them out of the ground before hand) and the distance is less when the coins are on its side. Is there a way to increase the distance on the machine to find silver? I feel like especially clad ones from above the 2000’s shouldn't be that deep. I also feel a little worried that I wont find deep coins with my machine and I don’t rly have the budget to sell/buy a new and better one. Also will trying to look for 1800s coins be possible on my machine?
Question 2
When I was also at the school I was picking up some signals that were jumping from anywhere from 20 to 70 each time I went over it. When I dug them up I couldn't really find anything. I know when you're new that you're supposed to dig everything but is it really worth it? And what metal could this be?
If any of these questions could be answered it would be greatly appreciated.
