The Console was working great, i didn’t try updating anything or messing with the SD card, all i did was accidentally tap the power button while in the middle of playing super mario world, and after i tried booting it back up, it would simply just get stuck on a screen with the blinking cursor
Im not really good with tech, so if someone can explain what i gotta do, id appreciate that!

I don’t know how to be not insecure with my chest. It makes me feel so angry and upset. My fiancé says he loves my chest size and he reassures me that he would not want to change it. But I personally hate how small my breasts are and I always compare myself to other girls, to the point where I get so angry and upset that I start crying and hating myself even more. I don’t know what to do. Of course I don’t hate the girls I compare myself to, I just get so jealous and upset. I hate looking at myself in pictures and seeing how flat my chest is. I feel disgusting and ugly. I don’t know how to get past this self hate. I feel like I failed as a woman and I know everyone’s body is perfect and perfect for who they should be. I just can’t help it and hate my chest so much.

 | hello all, CA renter here. my apt started flooding this morning due to rains in LA. unsure how rain came in but cracks in the vinyl flooring and wooden baseboard. landlord and her assistant who handles emergencies were notified around 12:30 PM PST. assistant texted back saying due to the “non-urgent nature” of the situation they couldn’t address it until tomorrow. unfortunately, it was super urgent and water has been flowing ALL DAY from various cracks in our bedrooms. there are like 8 leaking points total. I tried expressing this to her but she seemingly blocked my number because my calls won’t go through but my roommates’ do. we have been dealing with water for the past 8 hours, had to purchase a water vacuum, and are cleaning up every 20 minutes due to the ongoing flow. there is a lot of water under the vinyl flooring because the pressure of my footsteps causes a stronger flow. day is ruined and we are sleeping in the living room. haven’t heard from landlord yet… what should we do / any advice? not sure if I’m being crazy because it’s only been a day but I feel like this deserved more attention than they gave and our place feels inhabitable. submitted by Narrow_Bat4808 to Renters [link] [comments] |

2025.01.27 04:30 midasp I have changed my perspective, maybe Kensaldi does not need to be the final boss?
This has been stewing at the back of my mind for the past few months while I ran the campaign. The final fight seemed rather anti-climatic with Kensaldi and her dragon. And I have seen many posts on how to make her stand out more, have her appear more often, have her do more, make her more memorable to the players. And I have done some of that. I was contemplating having her show up in the City of Lost Names to remind my players that she still exists.
But.
Seeing Takhisis/Tiamat in Amazon's Secret Level gave me a great reminder of who she truly is. She is a dragon goddess with five heads. She has not one Dragon Army, but five. And we know even with liberation of Kalaman in the conclusion of this campaign, Kalaman would once again be occupied a few months later as the Blue Dragon Army led by Kitiara sweeps in.
What if Takhisis' unique selling point is that unlike other great evils, she does not put all her eggs in one bag? Instead of relying on one great general, or the success of one big plan, she has multiple generals and multiple plans running simultaneously? Perhaps that is why in the City of Lost Names, even though the party foil her plans in the Threshold of the Heavens, her other plan over at the Bastion of Takhisis succeeds.
Seen in that light, why should Kensaldi be the Dragon Queen's final boss? Perhaps it is better to sell to the players that it is going to be a marathon fight (which it is) against not just one big boss, but several big bosses?

I've got an old Standard (pre Mk l) that could really use some TLC. I've been perusing the Volquartsen website and I notice that most of their stuff mentions the Mkll, Mklll and MklV, but it doesn't really specify that the parts would work with the original model.
Am I up the creek? I mainly just want some springs, an extractor, and maybe trigger stuff. I've done a lot of searching on here and the Ruger page, I don't see a lot of folks posting about the Standard.
