I’ve always felt like Ranked Flex is a complete L mode. It’s supposed to be a competitive mode for teams or groups, but let’s be real—it’s far from what it should be. In Valorant, your rank reflects your overall skill across all modes. There’s no unnecessary split like in League between Flex and Solo/Duo. Imagine you’re in a group of three friends. You’re Plat, but your friends are Silver. They can’t even queue with you in Solo/Duo or Flex unless they grind on their own. Why does it even exist in this awkward state? Nobody plays solo or duo in Ranked Flex. Riot, if you’re reading this, please either overhaul Ranked Flex or just merge it with Solo/Duo entirely. The current system is outdated, frustrating, and discouraging for anyone who wants to play competitively with friends. Thought?

So, I did not want to be on the apps in my early-mid 30s, but life doesn’t always go the way we plan. I am cognizant of the disadvantages that brown guys face in dating (being polite here), and figured that getting a professional shoot by a dating photographer might even the odds a bit.
Yet when I talk about it with people, every single one of my family and friends is vehemently opposed to the idea.
